Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a thin film type multi-layer superconductor with enhanced superconductivity transfer temp. Tc, shrunk transfer temp. width, and stabilized film, by furnishing alternately oxide films of M, Ba, Cu as metal components of superconductor MBa2Cu3O7-delta. CONSTITUTION:Oxide films of M, Ba, Cu as metal components of a superconductor MBa2Cu3O7-delta (M is at least one of Y, Lu, Yb, Tm, Er, Ho, Dy, Gd, Sc and 0<=delta<=1) are laid one over another. This multi-layer structure enhances Tc. Oxide films of M, Ba, Cu shall preferably be formed by sputtering or electron beam evaporation, and the film thickness range 10-1000Angstrom . The electric properties are enhanced and stabilized by performing heat treatment after preparation of multi-layer film in a certain specific temp. condition and in the air or in a gas atmosphere with higher O2 concentration than the air. Thus a thin film type multi-layer superconductor is obtained which has the same Tc as sintered substance or thereover and a high stability.
