Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve improvement of coloration and stability of a coloring image, by a method wherein a forming method of a recording image in which coloration owing to contact of an electron donative colorless dye with an electron acceptive compound is utilized, light is radiated after application of heat, or otherwise heat is applied after irradiation with light. CONSTITUTION:In a recording material which has utilized a phenomenon that a polymeric colorless dye is colored by touching an electron acceptive compound, a recording image is formed by irradiation with light after application of heat or by application of heat after irradiation with light. As a polymeric colorless dye, triphenylmethane phthalide compound, fluorene compound, fluoran compound, phenothiazine series compound, inodlyl aza phthalide compound, etc., are mentioned. There are phenol derivative, salicylic acid derivative, metal salt of aromatic novolac carboxylate, acid clay, etc., as an electron acceptive compound which gives coloration by touching a colorless dye. As for application of heat in formation of an image, it is preferable that heat is applied to obtain 75 deg.C minimum.
