Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve an efficiency close to a thermal efficiency in a combustion device, burning LNG, by a method wherein a substance, containing alkali or alkali constituents, is mixed into exhaust gas, exhausted out of a high-temperature air preheater, and the dust of the exhaust gas, into which the substance is mixed, is collected by a dust collector while heat exchange between the heat of the exhaust gas, discharged out of the dust collector, and the heat of combustion air is effected in a low temperature air preheater. CONSTITUTION:The heat of exhaust gas, containing SO3 and discharged out of a boiler 1, and the heat of combustion air, coming from a low-temperature air preheater 5, are exchanged in a high-temperature air preheater 4 and the exhaust gas is discharged out of the high-temperature air preheater 4. NH3 is mixed into the exhaust gas whereby the SO3 in the exhaust gas is neutralized and, thereafter, the exhaust gas flows into a dust collector 6. The compound of neutralization between the SO3 and the NH3 in the exhaust gas as well as dust, contained in the exhaust gas from initial stage, are removed in the dust collector 6 and the exhaust gas, not containing the SO3, is discharged out of the dust collector 6. The heat of the exhaust gas, discharged out of the dust collector 6, and the heat of the combustion air, coming from a fan 7, are exchanged in the low-temperature air preheater 5 and the exhaust gas is discharged out of the low-temperature air preheater 5.
