Abstract
PURPOSE: To recover energy from the exhaust gas by pressing fuel into the exhaust gas, making it self-combusition on a catalyst surface and generating power through the exhaust gas.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel 8 is pressed into the exhaust gas 7a exhausted from the oxidation reaction process 1, the exhaust gas 7a containing the fuel 8 is heated by means of a heat exchanger 2, and the exhaust gas 7b heated at high temperature is led to a catalyst combustor 3. The exhaust gas 7b is made self-combustion on the catalyst surface and exhaust gas 7c at high temperature and high pressure is led to a gas expander 4 to operate a load 5. Exhaust gas 7d having passed through the gas expander 4 is led to the heat exchanger 2, sensible heat held by the exhaust gas is transmitted to the exhaust gas 7a through the oxidation process and the exhaust gas 7a is heated at the temperature necessary for the catalyst combustion.
