Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve service life of a mold by forming the first plating layer containing Ni and P, the second plating layer composing Co alloy on this and further, a plating layer composing of Cr or Cr alloy on the inner face of the mold body formed with precipitation hardening type copper alloy. CONSTITUTION:The mold body is formed with the precipitation hardening type copper alloy. On the inner face of this mold body, the first plating layer composing of the alloy containing Ni and P, the second plating layer containing >=5% Co formed with >=0.3mum thickness and further, the third plating layer formed with Cr or Cr alloy are constituted. Further, heat-treatment is executed at 200-500 deg.C to form the diffusion layer between plating layers respectively. By these constitutions, the service life can be lengthened.
