Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive humectant, containing an extract of soybean hypocotyls prepared by using water, a lower alcohol or blend thereof as an extracting solvent as an active ingredient, having excellent humectant action and safety and useful for the skin and hair. CONSTITUTION:A humectant for the skin and hair, containing an extract obtained by extracting soybean hypocotyls with water, a lower alcohol, such as methanol or ethanol, or a blend thereof, preferably a blend of the lower alcohol with water in about 40-60% alcohol concentration as an essential ingredient and capable of producing a cosmetic having excellent humectant performance by sufficiently blending therein since this humectant can be more stably supplied with higher safety at a lower cost than those of a conventional humectant.

たした皮膚や毛髪に保湿性を回復させるための外用剤で
あって、普通は化粧料の中に適量配合されて使用される
。保湿剤として有効な物質には、NMF (ナチュラル
モイスチャライノングファクター)やムコ多糖類がある
が、これらは天然における存在量が少なく、したがって
その抽出、精製のコストが高いから、一般的な化粧料に
充分配合されることは少なかった。

を分取する方法の一例を示すと、大豆を加熱して柔軟に
した状態で機械的応力を加えて剥皮後、半割れ子葉と胚
軸とを篩分ける。

ることが可能になる。
