  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) フローテイングリングシール、分割型セグ
    メントシール等の各種軸周シール装置において、
    回転軸に外挿し１次シール面を構成するシールリ
    ングの端面と密接摺動して２次シール面を構成す
    る静止側シールハウジングの内径部に、該摺動面
    から後退した環状逃げ構造を構成して成ることを
    特徴とする軸周シール装置のシールハウジング。 (2) 前記環状逃げ構造がテーパ構造、面取り構
    造或は段差構造によつて構成して成る環状構造で
    あることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第
    １項記載の軸周シール装置のシールハウジング。
