Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 外周がケーシング側のフランジにばね手段を兼
    ねたパツキンを介して嵌着された静止側シールリ
    ングと、シヤフトのスリーブに固定したシールカ
    バーにばね手段を兼ねたパツキンを介して外周が
    嵌着された回転側シールリングが、互いに軸方向
    に対向する摺動面同士で密接摺動するスラリーシ
    ールに、前記静止側シールリングの外周のパツキ
    ンの反密封空間側に臨んで前記フランジに開口す
    るクエンチング孔と、前記両シールリングの内周
    面と前記スリーブの外周面との間に遊挿されて基
    端が前記フランジに固定され先端が前記回転側シ
    ールリングの後端内周位置まで延びるバツフルス
    リーブとを設けたスラリーシールのクエンチング
    機構において、回転側シールリングの後端面また
    は該シールリングの後端に設けた金属リテーナの
    後端面に、放射状または外径側へ向けて反回転方
    向へ偏向した複数の溝を、周方向等配形成してな
    ることを特徴とするスラリーシールのクエンチン
    グ機構。
