Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ［産業上の利用分野］ 本発明は、駐車時間設定のためのパーキングメータに関
するものである。
［従来の技術］ 従来のパーキングメータにおける駐車はコインを投与し
て行なうか、磁気カードをカードリーダに読み取らせて
行なうかである。
［発明が解決しようとする問題点］ ところが、コインを投与して行なう方式においては、パ
ーキングメータに集積されたコインを狙っての盗難やそ
のためのパーキングメータの破損の恐れがあり、また、
磁気カードによる方式においては、磁気カードを偽造し
てパーキングメータを利用するというセキュリティ上の
不安があった。
本発明はこのような点を考慮してなされたものであり、
その目的とするところは、盗難に会う恐れがなく、かつ
使用するカードが偽造の恐れがないパーキングメータを
提供することにある。
［問題点を解決するための手段］ このような目的を達成するために本発明は、残りの度数
・駐□車時間等の駐車データをＩＣカードから読み取る
カードリーダと、駐車データと操作器からの指令信号と
を読み込みモータ駆動部および表示器駆動回路に指令を
与える中央処理装置と、モータ駆動部により駆動される
表示機構と。
表示器駆動回路により駆動される表示器とをパーキング
メータに設けるようにしたものである。
［作用］ 本発明に係るパーキングメータにおいては、コイン等の
盗難に会う恐れがなく、また、ＩＣカードは非常に精緻
につくられているので、使用するカード自体の偽造の恐
れがない。
［実施例］ 本発明に係わるパーキングメータの一実施例の回路を第
１図に示し、外観を第２図に示す。
第１図において、ｌは中央処理装置、２はカードリーダ
、３は操作器、４は操作器入力回路、５はモータ駆動部
、６は表示機構、７は表示器駆動回路、８は表示器であ
る。
次に、このように構成されたパーキングメータの動作に
ついて第１図、第３図を用いて説明する。
まず、カードリーダ２において差し込まれたＩＣカード
（以下単に「カード」という）の内容が読み取られる（
ステップ１１）、カードには、残りの度数・１度数光た
りの駐車時間等の駐車データが記載されている。これら
の駐車データは中央処理装置１に送られる。
次に操作器３からユーザによる駐車開始の指令信号が入
力されると（ステップ１２）、この指令信号は操作器入
力回路４を介して中央処理装置１に入力される。
これにより、中央処理装置１はカードから１度数分減算
し、減算された度数を表示器に表示し、駐車時間を設定
する。また、モータ駆動部５に指令を与えることにより
、表示機構６を駆動し、使用中の表示をさせる（ステッ
プ１３）。
この後、中央処理装置１は計時を開始する（ステップ１
４）。
中央処理装置ｌは計時された時間が駐車時間以上か否か
を判断しくステップ１５）、計時された時間が駐車時間
に達すると、モータ駆動部５に指令を与え、表示機構６
に未使用の表示をさせる（ステップ１６）。
第２図は第１図のパーキングメータの外観を示す外観図
である。第２図において、２はカードリーダ、３は操作
器である開始指示スイッチ、８は使用度数・残りの度数
等の表示をする表示器、９は表示機構６を構成し未使用
（赤色）・使用中（青色）・使用禁（黄色）の表示をす
る表示ドラムである。
次にこのパーキングメータの操作法について第２図を用
いて説明する。まず１表示ドラム９が赤色となっている
ことを確認し、赤色であればカードリーダ２にＩＣカー
ドを挿入する０表示ドラム９の黄色はカードの使用禁止
、表示ドラム９の青色はパーキングメータの使用中を意
味する。カード挿入後、使用可能度数すなわち残りの度
数が表示器８に表示される０次に開始指示スイッチ３を
押すと、残りの度数が“１”減算されて表示され、表示
ドラム９が青色となる０次にカードを引き抜く、引き抜
きと同時に計時が開始され、駐車可能な時間が表示され
る。　　　− も、し１度数以上駐車を希望する場合は、上記操作を繰
り返す、繰返しは所定限度までできる。また、カード設
定の都度、残りの度数を書き替えるが、書替え不良の時
ブザーで知らせる。このとき表示器８の表示は“ＥＥＥ
Ｅ”となり、時間は前に設定した値に戻るので、再度１
分以内に再設定すると良い。
次にその他のカードについて説明する。まず、駐車時間
を強制的に設定するカードについて説明する。カードの
データとしては、前述したような残りの度数・駐車時間
等の駐車データを記載したものの他に、強制的に駐車時
間を設定する、即ち差し込まれるカードの種類を問わず
強制的にある一定時間（通例は短い時間）に駐車時間を
設定するデータもある。これは、駐車する自動車が多く
なり混雑する場合などに使用されるものである。
次に、パーキングメータの使用を禁止するカードについ
て説明する。このカードの使用により、　　　−パーキ
ングメータは使用禁止の状態となり、表示ドラム９は黄
色を表示する。この場合、カードを差し込んでもパーキ
ングメータは動作しない。
［発明の効果］ 以上説明したように本発明は、駐車データをＩＣカード
から読み取り、駐車データと指令信号とにより表示機構
および表示器を駆動することにより、コインの使用を不
要とするので、金銭が盗難に会う恐れも無く、またＩＣ
カードに種々のデータを書き込むことができるので、駐
車時間を自由に設定できる効果がある。また、種々の動
作が中央処理装置により行なわれるので、従来のように
電力を消費することもなく、省エネルギーとすることが
でき、従って外部電源を不要とする電池方式とすること
も可能となる効果がある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 残りの度数・駐車時間等の駐車データをＩＣカードから
    読み取るカードリーダと、前記駐車データと操作器から
    の指令信号とを読み込みモータ駆動部および表示器駆動
    回路に指令を与える中央処理装置と、前記モータ駆動部
    により駆動される表示機構と、前記表示器駆動回路によ
    り駆動される表示器とを備えたことを特徴とするパーキ
    ングメータ。
