Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （技術分野） 本発明は、複数枚のワークを重ねて加圧して赤外線の加
熱により接着する赤外線ヒートシール装置に関する。
（従来技術） 従来、シート状のワークを熱圧着するヒートシール装置
として、第４図に示すような赤外線ヒートノール装置が
提案されている。この赤外線ヒートシール装置は、テー
ブル２０上の加圧ヘッド２１でワーク２２の接着部２２
ａをガラス板２３の下面に加圧した状態で、赤外線ヒー
タ２４からの赤外線２５を、マスク部材２６のスリット
２６ａおよびガラス板２３を通してワーク２２の接着部
２２ａに照射するようになっている。
上記構成において、マスク部材２６は、不要な赤外線の
透過を防止するために設けられているが、これだけでは
、不要な赤外線の遮断が充分に行なわれず、ガラス板２
３を通った赤外線の一部かワーク２２の接着部２２ａの
かたわらに回り込み、このことにより、その部分にある
電子部品２７等が熱劣化を起こしたり、焼損ずろ場合が
あった。
（発明の目的） 本発明は、上記問題点を解決するためになされた乙ので
、赤外線がワークの接着部のかたわらに回り込むのを防
止して、その部分にある電子部品等を上記赤外線から保
護しうる赤外線ヒートシール装置を提供ずろことを目的
とする。
（発明の構成） 」二足目的を達成するため、本発明は、赤外線ヒータと
、赤外線透過用のスリットを有するマスク部材と、スリ
ットの赤外線出口側でワークに接するガラス板とを有す
る赤外線ヒートシール装置において、前記ガラス板に、
赤外線透過領域を規制する遮光膜を形成した。
（実施例） 第１図および第２図は、本発明の一実施例に係る赤外線
ヒートシール装置を示す。
これらの図において、ワークｌの受は部としてのガラス
板２は、マスク部材４の下面に設けられている。マスク
部材４は、赤外線透過用のスリット３を有して水平状に
配置されており、スリット３の底部、つまり赤外線出口
が前記ガラス板２により閉塞されている。符号５は、ワ
ークｌの加圧接触部となるゴム材で、このゴム材５は、
ホルダ６によりガラス板２の下面と平行に配置されてい
る。ホルダ６は上下に移動しうるテーブル７上に設けら
れている。テーブル７の中央部は、エアシリンダ８のピ
ストンロッド８ａで昇降自在に支持され、かつテーブル
７の両端部には、昇降用のガイド機構９．９゛か形成さ
れている。これらゴム材５、ボルダ６、テーブル７およ
びエアシリンダ８は、受は部であるガラス板２とともに
、ワークｌに対する加圧部を構成している。
加熱部は赤外線ヒータ１０で構成され、この赤外線ヒー
タ１０は、これからの赤外線１１がスリット３およびガ
ラス板２を通る向きに設定されるとと乙に、スリット２
の長さ方向に、つまり矢印Ｓの方向にガイドレール１２
に沿って移動自在とされている。
ところで、上記ガラス板２の片側下面には、第３図にも
示すように、赤外線透過領域を規制する遮光膜１３′ｈ
（クロームメッキ膜により形成されている。
なお、ワークｌの種類は問わないが、この例では、大型
フラットパネル１ａとフレキシブルプリント基［１４１
とをワークとしている。１４は電子部品で、パネル１ａ
と接着部１ｃの近傍で基板ｔｂに装着されている。
次に、この実施例の作用を列挙する。
■重ね合わせたパネル１ａと基板１ｂの接着部ＩＣを、
その近傍の電子部品１４が遮光膜１３側となるように、
ゴム材５に乗せてピストンロッド８ａを上昇させ、ゴム
材６とガラス板２の間で接着部１ｃを加圧する。
■赤外線ヒータｌＯをガイドレール１２に沿ってその一
端側から他端側に定速移動しながら、赤外線ヒータｌＯ
から赤外線１１を照射することにより、上記接着部ＩＣ
を所定長さにわたって加熱する。その際、ガラス板２の
遮光膜Ｉ３により、赤外線１１の透過領域が規制され、
ワークｌの接着部１ｃのかたわらにある電子部品１４へ
の赤外線１１の回り込みが防止される。
■赤外線１１による加熱は停止するが、接着部ｌｃの加
圧は続行した状態で、自然冷却、またはエア等の冷却用
ガスの噴射（その手段の図示は省略した）により接着部
ＩＣを冷却する。
■ピストンロッド８ａを下降して、ゴム材５による接着
部１ｃの加圧を解除することにより、パネルＩａと基板
１ｂの接若を終了する。
なお、本発明の変形例として、ガラス板２およびマスク
部材４の側にエアシリンダを設け、とゴム材５との立場
を入れかえて、ガラス板２およびマスク部材４を可動と
し、ゴム材５を固定の受は部としてらよい。
（発明の効果） 本発明の赤外線ヒートシール装置によれば、ワークに接
触した状態で赤外線ヒータからの赤外線を透過さ仕るガ
ラス板に、赤外線透過領域を規制する遮光膜を形成した
ので、この遮光膜により、赤外線がワークの接着部のか
たわらに回り込むのを確実に防止することができ、これ
によって、接着部の近傍にある電子部品等の熱劣化や焼
損を回避することができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）赤外線ヒータと、赤外線透過用のスリットを有す
    るマスク部材と、前記スリットの赤外線出口側でワーク
    に接するガラス板とを有する赤外線ヒートシール装置に
    おいて、 前記ガラス板に、赤外線透過領域を規制する遮光膜を形
    成したことを特徴とする赤外線ヒートシール装置。
