Claims (1)
- 燃焼室内へ供給する吸気にスワールを発生させ
る常時開放の第１の吸気ポートと、エンジンの高
負荷運転域においてのみ開放する吸気制御弁を有
しかつ燃焼室内にストレートの吸気を供給する第
２の吸気ポートと、燃料噴射弁を設けた第３の吸
気ポートとを具備し、これら第１、第２及び第３
の各吸気ポートを、第１、第２及び第３の吸気弁
を介して燃焼室にそれぞれ開口し前記第３の吸気
弁の開弁時期を前記第１の吸気弁の開弁時期より
遅らせた複吸気弁エンジンにおいて、前記第１及
び第２の吸気ポートの上流側を共に第１の吸気通
路に連通させ、前記第３の吸気ポートの上流側を
第２の吸気通路に連通させ、前記第１の吸気通路
に第１のスロツトル弁を、第２の吸気通路に第２
のスロツトル弁をそれぞれ設け、エンジンの低負
荷時における前記第１のスロツトル弁の開度を、
前記第２のスロツトル弁の開度より大きく設定し
たことを特徴とする複吸気弁エンジン。
