This intermediate layer may possess various components in addition to the thermoset plastic matrix compound with regard to desired properties, such as thermal insulation, noise reduction, corrosion resistance, bond strength, and a friction layer in the nest. It has the role of improving the bond between the material and the support plate, and therefore measuring the shear strength of the lining.

This is because it is not possible under manufacturing conditions to inject powder A completely uniformly into the press mold. Therefore, the J&J lined single gauge was increased due to partial wear of the intermediate layer.
This can lead to an unfavorable change in the coefficient of friction before the wear limit of the simplex lining is reached.

The lining support plate coated with the shielding agent, the intermediate layer plate, and the powdered friction layer material are inserted into a press mold and the whole is pressed into a unit. As a result, a sufficiently defined separation surface is obtained between the friction layer material and the intermediate layer, and the manufacturing process is also simpler than pressing on a powdered intermediate layer.
However, it was shown that the strength value of the brake shoe manufactured in this way did not approach the high desired Pfr.
This is because the manufacturing method of the intermediate layer plate, such as rolling, creates a seal on the surface of the intermediate layer plate, and this seal provides a negative alignment for the adhesion between the Mobutsu J-material and the intermediate layer plate. It is.

This is because the minimum value of the strength table can only be achieved with a few mixed examples of the intermediate layer materials.

The problem is to provide a brake shoe and a simple method for producing the same, in which a high shear strength of the lining is achieved while other desirable and advantageous properties of the intermediate layer are maintained, such as noise damping, thermal insulation, corrosion resistance, etc. It's about finding out.

In the case where the intermediate layer is separated from the Jim layer and the intermediate layer in the form of a plate piece or the like is made of thermosetting plastic and a reinforcing insert, the intermediate layer plate piece is made of the intermediate layer material. and a heat-activatable adhesive, containing an embedded glass fiber net as a reinforcing insert, and having a uniform thickness and a roughened surface. This is what is happening.

The final brake shoe is obtained upon hardening of the plastic material by pressing with the layer material and bonding by heating.

Good bonding between the material and the intermediate layer plate is ensured by the presence of a flat surface during the fabrication of the intermediate layer plate, which ensures a clear separation island between the material and the intermediate layer material. This is achieved by the fact that the surface on this separate set of intermediate layer plates has a sufficient roughness M, which provides a particularly good interlocking with the friction layer material. This significantly reduces the shear strength of the lining compared to the intermediate layer rolling and/or pressing process (this process gives too smooth a surface) to produce the intermediate layer plates connected to the intermediate layer. Melt. Historically, the skeleton-like support structure of the glass fiber net increases the strength of the interlayer plate and thus contributes very reliably to the necessary strength of the lining to the support plate.

If the drying area of the intermediate layer, which can be achieved in a continuous process in the drying section, is not coated with kudzu, and there is a risk that each turn of the intermediate I- will stick when wound into a coil, then Use silicone-treated paper. In this example, which also forms the basis of the manufacturing process according to FIG. 1, a double-sided siliconized paper is wound together with a strip-shaped intermediate layer and cut into a coil.
