Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （産業上の利用分野） 本発明はシリコーングリース、特Ｃ二は鋼と鋼の極圧潤
滑特性を改良下ることによって機器の被潤滑部の摩耗を
軽減し、機器の寿命を長く下ることのできるシリコーン
グリースに関するものである。
（従来の技術） シリコーン油は粘度温度特性、耐熱耐酸化性、剪断安定
性、化学的安定性がＴぐれていることから潤滑油として
望ましいものとされており、事実シリコーン油を基油と
したシリコーングリースは丁ぐれた温度特性、耐熱性、
耐酸化性、化学的安定性を示す。
速、高荷重での使用（二は適さず、その用途にかなり制
限がある。このため、シリコーン油に脂肪酸やその誘導
体、塩素化合物、弗素化合物、リン化合物、アミン化合
物、はう素、鉛、マンガン、丁ずの有機化合物などのよ
うな油性向上剤、極圧添加剤を加えてその境界潤滑性を
改良下ることも試みられており、これζ二ついては塩素
化パラフィンやジアルキルグロレンデートを添加する方
法＜特公昭５１−３８８６４号公報参照）なども提案さ
れているが、これらは耐熱性の点から高温での使用の際
に金属の著しい腐蝕があることから耐熱性、耐酸化性の
Ｔぐれたシリコーングリースの特性を損なうという欠点
がある。
（発明の構成） 本発明はこのような不利を解決した鋼−鋼量の極圧潤滑
特性を改良したシリコーングリースに関するものであり
、これは構造式 ％式％ １３．１４．１４−ドデカクロロ−１，４，４＆。
５＋６．６ａ、７＋１０ｔｌＯａ、１１，１２．１２−
ドデカヒドロ−１，４；７．１０−ジメタノジベンゾ（
ａ　、　ｅ　）　ｙ／クロオクテンを０．５〜５０重量
含有下ることを特徴と下るものである。
これを説明すると、本発明者らはシリコーングリースの
鋼−鋼量の極圧潤滑特性を改良下る方法Ｃ：ついて種々
検討したところ、これにはシリコーンオイル／に上記し
た構造式＋１１で示される特定の塩素化合物を添加する
とグリース添加物として公知の塩素化合物である塩素化
パラフィンやジアルキルグロレンプ１−トにくらべて耐
熱性が丁ぐれており、高温での熱分解による塩素ガス、
塩酸ガスの発生が少すく、極圧部分とのみ反応するので
高温で使用しても金属を著しく腐蝕することがなく。
また嘗−鋼量の極圧潤滑性が改良されるので被潤滑部の
摩耗が低減されること、したがってこれを添加したシリ
コーングリースは高速高荷重の極圧状態での前滑を可能
とするものとなり、使用する機器の寿命が延長され、補
修Ｃ：要する費用も大巾（：低減させることができると
いうことを見出して本発明を完成させた。
本発明のシリコーングリースはシリコーンオイル（：上
記した特定の塩素化物を添加したものであるが、このシ
リコーンオイルに添加される塩素化物は前記した式 ％式％ １３．１４．１４−ドデカクロロー１．４．４＆。
５＊６＊ｆｉａｅ７ｅ１０．１０ａ、１１　．１２，１
２ａ−ドデカヒドロ−１，４；７，１０−ジメタノベン
ゾ（ａ　ｔ　ｓ　ｌ−シグロオクテンとされ、このもの
は米国Ｈｏｏｋｅｒ　Ｃｈｅｍｉｃａ１社から粒径が２
〜５μまたは５〜１５μのものがデグロランブラスとい
う部品名で市販されているものと下ればよいが、本発明
の目的からは粒径が２〜５μのものと下ることがよい。
なお、このものの添加量は上記したシリコーンオイル１
００重量部に対し０．５重量部以下ではその添加効果が
不充分となり、５０重責部以上とするとトルクの増大が
起るので０．５〜５０重量部の範囲とすることが必要と
されるが、この好ましい範囲は５〜５０軍増部とされる
。
つぎに本発明の実施例をあげるが１例中の部は重ψ部を
、粘度は２５℃での測定値を示したちの実施例１、比較
例１ 全有機基の９５％がメチル基、５％がフェニル基で粘度
が１．０ＯＯｃＳのメチルフェニルシリコーン１ｌｔ１
１］６８部にリチウムステアレート１５部を添加したシ
リコーングリースに１．２．３．４，７゜８．９．ＩＱ
、１３，１３，１４．１４−ドデカヒロロー１．４，４
ａｔ５，６．ｆｉａ、７．１０＋１０ａ＋１１．１２＆
−ドデカヒトａ−１，４；７．１０−ｉ）メタノベンゾ
（ａ、ｅ）シクロオクテン１７部を添加してグリース中
を作ると共に、比較のためｌ：上記の塩素化物を添加し
ないで上記したシリコーン油８５部（ユリチウムステア
レート１５部を添加したグリースｔｉｌｌを作った。
つぎにこのグリース中、＋１１１についての着出式高速
４球式摩耗試験機Ｃ二よる　今インチ鋼球の摩耗痕の比
較をしたところ、４０に？の荷重下（二おける２、４０
０ｒｐｍの５分間試験でグリース中Ｔ）ば直径１．２０
ｃｍの摩耗痕が測定されたのＣ：対しグＩＪ　−一スｆ
ｉｌはグリース＋１ｌｌｌ’：＜らべて摩耗痕が減少し
ており、極圧条件下での潤滑性が明らかに改良されてい
ることが確認された。
実施例２、比較例２ 全有機基の７５％がメチル基、２５％がフェニル基で粘
度が４　ＦＩ　Ｏａ８″′Ｃあるメチルフェニルシリコ
ーン油５５部にポリテトラフルオロエチレン粉末３０部
を加えたシリコーングリース（二、１゜２．３，４．７
．８．９，１０，１３．１３．１４，１４−ドデカヒロ
ロー１．４，４ａ、５．ｆｉ、６ａ、７゜１０ｉＯ＆、
１１．１２＆−ドデカヒドロ−１，４；７．１０−　ジ
メタノベンゾ（ａ、ｅ）シクロオクテン１５部を加えて
グリースｉｌｌを作ると共に、比較のため（二上記の塩
素化物を添加しないで上記シリコーン油７０部とポリテ
トラフルオロエチレン粉末３０部とからなるグリース＋
ｒＳＱを作った。
つぎ（−このグリース■、ｌｉｔ／ｌを両面ツールド板
付のベアリング（６２０４タイプ）ζ二１１宛充填して
寿命試験を行なったところ、回転数１０．　ＯＯＯｒｐ
ｍ、スラスト荷重２．２７　Ｋｐ、ラジアル荷重２−２
５　Ｋｇ、ベアリング外輪／／Ａ度２５０℃の試験条件
においてベアリングの焼付によって停止下るまでの時間
はグリース＋＠ＩＩ）　５５　Ｑ時間に対しグリースｌ
ｌ’Ｖｌは１１３時間であり、グリース１）はグリース
（■）（二くらべて、ベアリング試験（＝よる寿命が大
巾（二延長されていることがｉ認された。
実施例３、比較例３ Ｘ７１１１１で使用したメチルフェニルシリコーン油６
８部に塩素化パラフィン（塩素含有８７０％）１７部と
リチウムステアレート１５部を加えてグリース＋Ｖｌを
作った。
つぎに上記した実施例１．２で作ったグリース中、＋１
１とこのグリースＩＶＩ￥サンドペーパーで表面を研磨
した鋼板に＠布したのち、これを２００℃に保持されて
いる熱風循ｆｆ１氏＠／！！槽中（二２４時間放置して
からグリースをふ者とって鋼板の表面を観察したところ
、グリース中、Ｉ′″Ｃは画板表面（：変色や錆は殆ん
ど認められなかったが、グリース＋Ｖ＋では雫石部およ
びその周辺（二著しい腐蝕が認められ、本発明によるグ
リースＩｌｌ、１釦には金属の腐蝕性がなく、潤滑性−
特に極圧特性の改良されていることが確認された。
