Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 「産業上の利用分野」 本発明は、例えば炭酸ガス含有飲料水、或いは炭酸ガス
を含有しない清涼飲料水などを充填するに通した合成樹
脂製二軸延伸壜成形用の中間素材に関する。
「従来の技術」 上記飲料水等を充填する壜として従来ガラス壜が使用さ
れていたが、ffflがかさみ、コスト高となるため近
時合成樹脂製二軸延伸壜が使用されている。該壜の形成
は、有底かつ上端開口の管状をなす合成樹脂製中間素材
を設けておき、加熱状態でその中間素材上端部をI屋持
させて金型内に垂下させ、中間素材内に入れた押下げ棒
により中間素材の底部を押下げてまず縦軸方向への延伸
を行った後、その中間素材内へ高圧エアを吹込み横軸方
向への延伸を行って二輪延伸壜としていた。
上記中間素材は、壜の口頚部形成用の上端部だけは二軸
延伸することなく、そのまま増目頚部とすることが可能
な肉厚とし、その他の中間素材部分は二軸延伸して肉薄
の壜を成形することが可能に、上記上端部よりも厚肉か
つ均等肉厚とするものであった。
「発明が解決しようとする問題点」 上記中間素材を上記のように二輪延伸すると、槽底壁お
よび壜肩部の二軸延伸が不充分となり、強度が低下する
欠点があった。
本発明は上記槽底壁および壜n部も壜胴部とほぼ同様に
延伸できるよう設けたものである。
「問題点を解決するための手段」 有底かつ上端開口の管状をなす、二軸延伸壜成形用の中
間素材であって、該中間素材のほぼ均等肉厚とした壜胴
部形成部分肉厚に対して、槽底部形成部分と槽周部形成
部分との各肉厚を、約80%程度ないしは80%以下の
肉厚とした。
「作用」 第1図が示すように、はぼ均等肉厚の壜胴皿形成部分2
に対して槽底部形成部分7および槽周部形成部分6の肉
厚を薄くした本発明中間素材lを加熱し、吹込み成形用
金型9内にセットさせておき、その場口頚部形成部分3
を型締めにより保持させた状態でその内部に押下げ棒を
入れ、底部を押下げして第2図のように縦軸方向へ延伸
させる。
該状態での延伸は、主として肉薄部分において行われる
こととなるため、第2図が示すように主として槽周一部
形成部分6と、槽底部形成部分7との部分が延伸され更
に肉薄化することとなる。該状態から押下げ棒lOに設
けられた吹込み路11を介して高圧エアを吹込み乍ら更
にキャビティ底面12まで押下げすると、始めに肉薄化
された槽周部形成部分6と槽底部形成部分7とがキャビ
ティ内壁面13に圧接され、続いて二軸延伸により胴部
がキャビティ内壁面へ圧接されて壜8が形成されること
となる。
「実施例」 lは本発明に係る二軸延伸された合成4M脂製壜成形用
の有底かつ上端開口で管状をなす中間素材で島る0合成
樹脂材としては、飽和ポリエステル樹脂がよいが、その
他ポリプロピレン、塩ビ等も二輪延伸させるに適する。
該中間素材は射出成形により形成できる。その形状は円
筒状にするとよい、上端部は増目頚部形成部分3とされ
ており、その外周にはキャップ螺合用のねし4が周設さ
せである。5はキャップ周壁の下端部係合用の外向きフ
ランジである。該外向きフランジよりも上方が1011
部形成部分であり、核部はそのまま槽目頚部にすること
が可能に設けておく。
増目yn部形成部分と壜胴皿形成部分との間の槽周部形
成部分6と、槽底部形成部分7とのそれぞれの肉P1は
、壜胴皿形成部分2の約80%程度、ないしはそれ以下
の肉厚に形成させておく。
肩部形成部分6および槽底部形成部分7の胴部2に対す
る肉厚比は、壜の形状および所望される延伸倍率によっ
て異るが、要するに肩部形成部分と底部形成部分との二
輪延伸が不充分となり易いため、二輪延伸を、縦軸方向
へ延伸して延伸が不充分となり易い部分を伸ばした後、
横軸方向へ延伸させようとするものであるから、該目的
に適するよう、その肉厚比を定めればよい、尚その肉厚
比があまりに少い場合は縦軸方向への延伸の際に胴部が
共に延伸されて充分な効果をあげることが出来ない。
「発明の効果」 本発明は既述構成としたから、既述のように二輪延伸す
ることでほぼ均等に延伸された二輪延伸壜を成形するこ
とが掻めで容易である。又中間素材の構造は極めて簡易
であるから廉価に製作することが出来、従来に比べてコ
スト高となることもない。

  1. 有底かつ上端開口の管状をなす、二軸延伸壜成形用の中
    間素材であって、該中間素材のほぼ均等肉厚とした壜胴
    部形成部分肉厚に対して、壜底部形成部分と壜肩部形成
    部分との各肉厚を、約80%程度ないしは80%以下の
    肉厚としたことを特徴とする合成樹脂製二軸延伸壜成形
    用中間素材
