Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 「産業上の利用分野」 本発明は、例えば炭酸ガス含有飲料水、或いは
炭酸ガスを含有しない清涼飲料水などを充填する
に適した合成樹脂製二軸延伸壜成形用の中間素材
に関する。
「従来の技術」 上記飲料水等を充填する壜として従来ガラス壜
が使用されていたが、重量がかさみ、コスト高と
なるため近時合成樹脂製二軸延伸壜が使用されて
いる。該壜の形成は、有底かつ上端開口の管状を
なす合成樹脂中間素材を設けておき、加熱状態で
その中間素材上端部を握持させて金型内に垂下さ
せ、中間素材内に入れた押下げ棒により中間素材
の底部を押下げてまず縦軸方向への延伸を行つた
後、その中間素材内へ高圧エアを吹込み横軸方向
への延伸を行つて二軸延伸壜としていた。
上記中間素材は、壜の口頚部形成用の上端部だ
けは二軸延伸することなく、そのまま壜口頚部と
することが可能な肉厚とし、その他の中間素材部
分は二軸延伸して肉薄の壜を成形することが可能
に、上記上端部よりも厚肉かつ均等肉厚とするも
のであつた。
「発明が解決しようとする問題点」 上記中間素材を上記のように二軸延伸すると、
壜底壁および壜肩部の二軸延伸が不充分となり、
強度が低下する欠点があつた。
本発明は上記壜底壁および壜肩部も壜胴部とほ
ぼ同様に延伸できるよう設けたものである。
「問題点を解決するための手段」 有底かつ上端開口の管状をなす、二軸延伸壜成
形用の中間素材であつて、該中間素材のほぼ均等
肉厚とした壜胴部形成部分肉厚に対して、壜底部
形成部分と壜肩部形成部分との各肉厚を、約80%
程度ないしは80%以下の肉厚とした。
「作用」 第1図が示すように、ほぼ均等肉厚の壜胴部形
成部分2に対して壜底部形成部分7および壜肩部
形成部分6の肉厚を薄くした本発明中間素材1を
加熱し、吹込み成形用金型9内にセツトさせてお
き、その壜口頚部形成部分3を型締めにより保持
させた状態でその内部に押下げ棒を入れ、底部を
押下げして第2図のように縦軸方向へ延伸させ
る。該状態での延伸は、主として肉薄部分におい
て行われることとなるため、第2図が示すように
主として壜肩部形成部分6と、壜底部形成部分7
との部分が延伸され更に肉薄化することとなる。
該状態から押下げ棒10に設けられた吹込み路1
1を介して高圧エアを吹込み乍ら更にキヤビテイ
底面12まで押下げすると、始めに肉薄化された
壜肩部形成部分6と壜底部形成部分7とがキヤビ
テイ内壁面13に圧接され、続いて二軸延伸によ
り胴部がキヤビテイ内壁面へ圧接されて壜8が形
成されることとなる。
「実施例」 1は本発明に係る二軸延伸された合成樹脂製壜
成形用の有底かつ上端開口で管状をなす中間素材
である。合成樹脂材としては、飽和ポリエステル
樹脂がよいが、その他ポリプロピレン、塩ビ等も
二軸延伸させるに適する。該中間素材は射出成形
により形成できる。その形状は円筒状にするとよ
い。上端部は壜口頚部形成部分3とされており、
その外周にはキヤツプ螺合用のねじ4が周設させ
てある。5はキヤツプ周壁の下端部係合用の外向
きフランジである。該外向きフランジよりも上方
が壜口頚部形成部分であり、該部はそのまま壜口
頚部にすることが可能に設けておく。
壜口頚部形成部分と壜胴部形成部分との間の壜
肩部形成部分6と、壜底部形成部分7とのそれぞ
れの肉厚は、壜胴部形成部分2の約80%程度、な
いしはそれ以下の肉厚に形成させておく。
肩部形成部分6および壜底部形成部分7の胴部
2に対する肉厚比は、壜の形状および所望される
延伸倍率によつて異なるが、要するに肩部形成部
分と底部形成部分との二軸延伸が不充分となり易
いため、二軸延伸を、縦軸方向へ延伸して延伸が
不充分となり易い部分を伸ばした後、横軸方向へ
延伸させようとするものであるから、該目的に適
するよう、その肉厚比を定めればよい。尚その肉
厚比があまりに少い場合は縦軸方向への延伸の際
に胴部が共に延伸されて充分な効果をあげること
が出来ない。
「発明の効果」 本発明は既述構成としたから、既述のように二
軸延伸することでほぼ均等に延伸された二軸延伸
壜を成形することが極めて容易である。又中間素
材の構造は極めて簡易であるから廉価に製作する
ことが出来、従来に比べてコスト高となることも
ない。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1 有底かつ上端開口の管状をなす、二軸延伸壜
    成形用の中間素材であつて、該中間素材のほぼ均
    等肉厚とした壜胴部形成部分肉厚に対して、壜底
    部形成部分と壜肩部形成部分との各肉厚を、約80
    %程度ないしは80%以下の肉厚としたことを特徴
    とする合成樹脂製二軸延伸壜成形用中間素材。
