Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔技術分野〕 本発明は封止型の光情報記録媒体に関する。
〔従来技術〕
ディスク状情報記録媒体の封正に用いられる接着剤には
、封入される記録材料に影#を及はすことがないように
(1)硬化の除に反応副生成物のないこと、(2)溶剤
を言まないことが要求される。そのため逍冨はエポキシ
系接層剤が用いらオする。しかしながら、エポキシ系接
層剤を用いる場合、硬化の際の加熱によりプラスチック
基板が変形する。硬化に時間がかかる寺の問題がある。
また常温硬化型のエポキシ系接層剤を用いることが提茶
さnているが硬化時間が長い点では同じである。
そこで、近年紫外線硬化型接層剤が注目されてきている
。これは上記(1)および(2)の性買を備えているた
めM望なものであるが、硬化反応がラジカル重合反応に
よるため大気中の酸素が2ジカルを消費してしまい表面
の硬化が遅いという欠点を有している。特に、いわゆる
エア・サンドイッチ型の封止ディスクにおいては、封止
内部の接着剤表面が硬化不足となシ未反応単量体成分が
封止内部に揮発し記録層に影響を及ぼす。その対策とし
て硬化雰囲気が酸素t−除去すること具体的には蓋索雰
囲気中での硬化という方法が考えられるが、工業生産で
は設備が大がかりになるという問題がある。
一方%接層部に記録層が存在する封止型情報記録媒体に
おいては、基板上に存在している記録材料と基板との密
着強度があまシ強力でないために、記録層/基板界面か
ら層剥離が生じてくる危険性が大きいことは良く知られ
ている。
また%最近になって記録材料としてM1娩色素が種々開
発され、この中には溶剤燻布→によって極めて藺単に記
録層を形成することが可能なものがあり、このことが有
機色素を用いることの大きな利点のひとつとなっている
。上記m剤塗布法の中でもスピンコード法によれば最も
精密な成膜がり馳であるが、このスピンコード法により
記録形成(+−行う場合には接7Illf部に記録層を
設けないようにするマスキングは困難であるという欠点
がある。そこで接層剤M事前に接着部の記録層を除去す
nば光分な接層強度を確保できるのであるが、この場合
は記録材料の除去工程において発生ずる龜埃のために製
品記録体の欠陥品が増大する、すなわちエラー率が高く
なるという耕たな問題が伴う。
〔目的〕
本発明は上記問題に鑑みてなされたものであってその目
的は光情報記録媒体の封止倍頼性の向上にある。
〔構成〕
本発明名−は光情報記録媒体の封止用接層剤について抽
々検討した結果1表面硬化性のすぐれた下記一般式(1
)の化合物、記録材++をm解するが記録材料の劣化の
小さい下記一般式(II)の化合物および接7M独嵐を
ざりに同上するが記録材料の劣化の小ざい下記−収入(

すなわち1本発明の上8ピ目的は2枚のディスク状基孜
のシち少なくとも1枚の片面に有囁色索記録層を有する
1対の基板を同心的に配置されfC同周スば一すおよび
外周スは−サ七介して・!fcrt介さずに該記録層が
V′3鶴になるように貼合せる除に封止用接層剤として
下記一般式(1)および(II)の化合物を含む徽層削
を用いることにより達成できる。
表面硬化性のすぐれた一般式(1)の化合物は(式中、
 art (J3””−たはE(R)mを表わし、Rは
メナル基またはエチル基金表わし、mは1〜4を表わし
そしてnは2〜4を表わす)にょつて表わされる。また
、接層部の記録材料を溶解するが記録材料に対する劣化
の小さい一般式(illの化合物は (式中、nは4〜8を表わす)によって表わされる。
なお、本発明においては一般式(1)および(n)の化
合物金言む封止用接層剤を用いれは充分な接層強度を得
ることがでさるがさらに接層強度を向上させる目的で下
記一般式(110の化合物を上記一般式11)および(
It)の化合物と組合せて用いてもよい。
一般式(11D 〔式中、Lは−WH20HzO+m(m= 1〜4 )
 またはC!H2C(C1()Hil(20−七表わし
s RlrLcnI(2Q+1(n=4〜12 )ヲ表
わしそしてR2rjC1’EたはBr (n=0.1ま
たVi2)を表わす〕。
本発明における封止用接層剤は望ましくは一般式t1)
の化合物  40〜70重を俤一般式(II)の化合物
  10〜60重量%一般式(蜀の化合物   0〜3
0重量%を混合することにより、i4裟することができ
る。
次に本発明の封止型光情報記録媒体を図面にもとづいて
説明する。
ディスク状基板1,1は例えば透明プラスチック板から
形成されその中心部に嵌合孔2を有し。
これら基板1,1の一方の片面には有情色素記録層6が
形成されている。これら基板1,1を同心的に配置した
内周スに一す4および外周スペーサ5t−介して上記記
録層6,3を互いに内側に配置し且つ各々の記録層6.
6の相互対向面間に空間6が形成される状態に本発明の
封止用接着剤7を用いて貼合せる。
上記号機色素記録層3の代表例としてはシアニン色素、
メロシアニン色素などのポリメチン色素をあげることが
できるがこれのみに制限されるものではない。なお1図
示の構成の他に記録層3を基板1,1の両方の片面に形
成させる場合もある。
〔効果〕
上述のようにして構成された本発明の光情報記録媒体は
従来のエポキシ系接層剤を用いて貼合せたものに比べて
基板変形が少なく保存性にすぐれている。また、貼合せ
の際の硬化時間を短縮することができる。
〔実施例〕
以下に比較例とともに実施例をあげて本発明をさらに説
明するがこれに限定されるものではない。例中2部は重
量部によって示す。なお。
例中で示した一般式においてアクリロイル基CH2=C
HC0−をAと略記した。
実施例 1 直径200鴫および厚さ1mのポリメチルメタクリレー
ト基板2枚を用い、そのうちの1枚にフォトポリマ法に
よりブレグルーフを設けた後その上に一般式 で表わされる色素の1.2−ジクロロエタン溶液(色素
altEAe0.7重量係)を60 Orpmでスビン
コートシて記録層を設けた後、厚さ1諒のスは一すを介
して下記の組成を有する接着剤を用いて図示のように封
止した。
上述のようにして作製した封止ディスクを60℃、90
%R,H,の環境中に1000時間放置後ディスク特性
を測定し九結果を以下の表に示す。
実姑例2〜10および比較例1〜2 実施例1における接着剤の代シに以下に示す組成の接着
剤を用いた以外には実施例1とまったく同様にして光デ
ィ戸りを作製した。なお。
谷実厖例および各比較例において光重合開始剤とし″′
C央翔例1と同様に2,2−ジメトキシ2−フェニルア
セトフェノンを用いた。6光ディスクについて特性を測
定した結果を以下の表に示す。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 2枚のディスク状基板のうち少なくとも1枚の片面に有
    機色素記録層を有する1対の基板を同心的に配置された
    内周スペーサおよび外周スペーサを介してまたは介さず
    に該記録層が内側になるように接着剤を用いて貼合せた
    封止構造を有ししかも前記接着剤が下記一般式( I )
    および(II)の化合物場合により下記一般式(III)の
    化合物を含むことを特徴とする光情報記録媒体。 一般式( I ) ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ (式中、φは▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼または
    ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼を表わし、Rはメチ
    ル基またはエチル基を表わし、mは1〜4を表わしそし
