Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
この発明はスラブ等の偏平鋼片を熱間で縦切断
する装置に関するもので、偏平鋼片を切断ロール
にて高能率で切断ロスなしに熱間縦切断するとと
もに、分割された鋼片を次工程圧延機に供給する
に最適な断面形状に成形することを目的とする。

従来、偏平鋼片を縦方向に切断して狭幅の偏平
鋼片を得る方法としては、ガスを用いた溶断方法
が一般的であり、次のような方法がある。

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 偏平鋼片を縦方向に切断するための、Ｖ形切
断刃を外面に有する一対の切断ロールと、 前記切断ロールの入側および出側にそれぞれ一
対設けた鋼片用ガイドと、 前記切断ロールの入側において前記偏平鋼片の
両側部を成形するためのエツジヤーとを備え、 前記切断ロールの入側および出側の各々の前記
一対の鋼片用ガイドを、相互に進退自在とし、前
記エツジヤーによつて前記偏平鋼片の両側部を、
前記偏平鋼片の切断後の切断部と同一形状になる
ように成形することを特徴とする偏平鋼片の縦切
断装置。 ２ 偏平鋼片を縦方向に切断するための、Ｖ形切
断刃を外面に有する一対の切断ロールと、 前記切断ロールの入側および出側にそれぞれ一
対設けた鋼片用ガイドと、 前記切断ロールの入側の前記一対の鋼片用ガイ
ドに近接して配置した、前記偏平鋼片を起伏する
ための垂直転倒機とを備え、 前記一対の切断ロールに、前記偏平鋼片の両側
部を、前記偏平鋼片の切断後の切断部と同一形状
に前記偏平鋼片を垂直に立てた状態で加圧成形す
るためのカリバーを設け、前記切断ロールの入側
および出側の各々の前記一対の鋼片用ガイドを、
相互に進退自在としたことを特徴とする偏平鋼片
の縦切断装置。
