Description
第１図は本考案に係る車両のステアリング支持
構造の一例をそれが適用された車両の車体の一部
と共に示す概略断面図、第２図は第１図における
―線に沿う断面図、第３図は第１図に示され
る例が適用された車両の衝突時におけるステアリ
ングホイールの変位の説明に供される図、第４図
は従来の車両のステアリング支持構造の説明に供
される図である。 図中、１０はアツパーダツシユパネル、１２は
カウルボツクス、１４はステアリングコラム支持
バー、１６はロアーダツシユパネル、２６はアツ
パーステアリングブラケツト、２８はステアリン
グシヤフト、３０はステアリングコラム、３２は
ステアリングホイール、３８はロアーステアリン
グブラケツト、４０及び４２はリンク部材、４６
は係合ピン、４８は切欠部、５０は連結部材であ
る。

パーステアリングブラケツト、２８はステアリン
グシヤフト、３０はステアリングコラム、３２は
ステアリングホイール、３８はロアーステアリン
グブラケツト、４０及び４２はリンク部材、４６
は係合ピン、４８は切欠部、５０は連結部材であ
る。
Claims (1)
- ステアリングホイールが取り付けられたステア
リングシヤフトが回動自在に挿通せしめられたス
テアリングコラムと、車室前方に配されて車幅方
向に伸びるカウルボツクスの少なくとも車室側に
位置する壁面を形成するアツパーダツシユパネル
に一端部が固定され、他端部に上記ステアリング
コラムが取り付けられるステアリングブラケツト
と、車体に固定されて車幅方向に伸びる部分によ
り上記ステアリングブラケツトの他端部を支持す
るステアリングコラム支持部材と、車室とエンジ
ンルームとを仕切るロアーダツシユパネルに一端
部が固定されて上記ステアリングブラケツトに向
かつて伸び、上記ステアリングコラムの下部を支
持する第１のリンク部材と、上記ステアリングブ
ラケツトに一端部が固定されて上記第１のリンク
部材に沿う方向に伸び、他端部が上記第１のリン
ク部材の他端部に係合して、上記車体が所定以上
の衝撃荷重を受ける際には、上記ステアリングコ
ラム支持部材による支持部を支点とした上記ステ
アリングコラムの回動を生ぜしめる上記第１のリ
ンク部材の変位を許す第２のリンク部材と、を備
えることを特徴とする車両のステアリング支持構
造。
