第１図は本考案に係る車両のステアリング支持
構造の一例をそれが適用された車両の車体の一部
と共に示す概略断面図、第２図は第１図における
―線に沿う断面図、第３図は第１図における
―線に沿う断面図、第４図は第１図に示され
る例が適用された車両の衝突時におけるステアリ
ングホイールの変位の説明に供される図、第５図
は従来の車両のステアリング支持構造の説明に供
される図である。 図中、１０はアツパーダツシユパネル、１２は
カウルボツクス、１４はステアリングコラム支持
バー、１６はロアーダツシユパネル、１８はブラ
ケツト、２６はアツパーステアリングブラケツト
、２８はステアリングシヤフト、３０はステアリ
ングコラム、３２はステアリングホイール、３８
はロアーステアリングブラケツト、４２及び４４
はリンク部材である。

、２８はステアリングシヤフト、３０はステアリ
ングコラム、３２はステアリングホイール、３８
はロアーステアリングブラケツト、４２及び４４
はリンク部材である。
Claims (1)
- ステアリングホイールが取り付けられたステア
リングシヤフトが回動自在に挿通せしめられたス
テアリングコラムと、車室前方に配されて車幅方
向に伸びるカウルボツクスの少なくとも車室側に
位置する壁面を形成するアツパーダツシユパネル
に一端部が固定され、他端部に上記ステアリング
コラムが取り付けられるステアリングブラケツト
と、車体に固定されて車幅方向に伸びる部分によ
り上記ステアリングブラケツトの他端部を支持す
るステアリングコラム支持部材と、一端部により
上記ステアリングコラムの下部を支持し、他端部
が車室とエンジンルームとを仕切るロアーダツシ
ユパネルもしくはそれに固定された部材に、上記
車体が所定以上の衝撃荷重を受ける際には、上記
ステアリングコラム支持部材による支持部を支点
とした上記ステアリングコラムの回動を許すべく
結合された第１のリンク部材と、上記第１のリン
ク部材と上記ステアリングブラケツトとを、上記
車体が所定以上の衝撃荷重を受ける際には、上記
第１のリンク部材の上記ステアリングブラケツト
に対する移動を許すべく連結する第２のリンク部
材と、を備えることを特徴とする車両のステアリ
ング支持構造。
