考案に係る放電灯を示す側面図、第３図は同じく
殺菌灯装置の一部を示す説明図、第４図は従来の
放電灯を示す側面図、第５図は同じく殺菌灯装置
の一部を示す説明図、第６図は従来の放電灯の点
灯時間経過後の殺菌線出力変化を示す図、第７図

- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ 紫外線を放射する直管形放電灯８の周囲に紫
外線透過性の筒体５を設置し該筒体の外周に液体
６を存在させて該液体の殺菌を行なうようにした
殺菌灯装置において、 前記放電灯８の紫外線透過ガラスよりなる発光
管の管中央部８ａの外径Ｄ１と発光管の管端部８
ｂの外径Ｄ２との関係を１．４Ｄ１≧Ｄ２≧１．
０５Ｄ１とすると共に、前記放電灯８を前記筒体
５に接触させないように、両者の間隔ｔを前記発
光管の管端部８ｂの外径Ｄ２の１／１０以下とす
ることを特徴とする殺菌灯装置。 ２ 前記放電灯８は電極間距離１cm当り０．４〜
２Ｗの負管を有する低圧水銀灯であることを特徴
とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載の殺菌
灯装置。
