Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は断熱箱のハンガーピンの取付に関する
ものである。
従来冷蔵庫等の断熱箱は第1図および第2図に
示すように外箱1と熱可塑性合成樹脂製内箱2で
構成された二重壁間3に、ウレタン等の発泡材を
断熱材として充填していた。この断熱箱4はネツ
ト5等の内装部品を取り付けるための熱可塑性合
成樹脂製ハンガーピン6を内箱2に設けていた。
このハンガーピン6の内箱2への取付けは、あ
らかじめ内箱2の穴8にビス締め下穴用スナツプ
インナツト7を挿入し、スナツプインナツトの抜
け防止およびウレタンはがれに対する補強のため
の補強板10を取り付け、ウレタン発泡時のウレ
タン漏れ防止用シール11を施し、ウレタン発泡
後、ハンガーピン6をビス9によつて内箱に取り
付けていた。このように従来は部品点数がハンガ
ーピン6、スナツプインナツト7、ビス9、補強
板10の4点が必要であり、そのうえ内箱2にス
ナツプインナツト7を挿入する穴8を加工し、ウ
レタン発泡時のウレタン漏れを防止するためのシ
ール11を施す工程が必要であつた。このためハ
ンガーピン6の内箱2への取付方法として回転摩
擦溶接によるハンガーピンの内箱への取付が考え
られる。しかしハンガーピン6を内箱2に回転摩
擦溶接により取り付けると内箱2の板厚が薄く、
摩擦により表面が溶けるとより薄くなり強度が落
ちる、また摩擦熱および加工により内箱2が変形
し、一体成型なされているウレタン等の断熱材が
はがれる問題がある。
本考案は前記従来の欠点を除き、回転摩擦溶接
でハンガーピンの内箱への取付を可能にしたもの
である。以下本考案の一実施例を添付図面第3図
に沿つて説明する。熱可塑性合成樹脂製ハンガー
ピン12は、その溶着面19にあらかじめくりぬ
いた中空部13とこの中空部13の周囲に溶融樹
脂溜り部14を設けたもので、中空部13はハン
ガーピン12の中央に位置する頭部15に対応し
て設けられている。ハンガーピン12の頭部15
は摩擦溶接機の回転部にチヤツクされ易いように
軸方向に直交する方向の断面を多角形に成形して
る。またABS樹脂等の熱可塑性合成樹脂からな
る内箱16と外箱17とはウレタン発泡材等の断
熱材18と一体成型されている。つぎにハンガー
ピン12の頭部15を摩擦溶接機の回転部にチヤ
ツクしてハンガーピン12を回転させながら、静
止した内箱16接着面にハンガーピン12の溶着
面19を圧着させると、接触面に摩擦熱を発生
し、ハンガーピン12の溶着代部Aと内箱16の
表面が溶融するものである。溶融した後ハンガー
ピン12の材料を内箱16の材料よりも軟化点温
度の低い合成樹脂成型しておけば、内箱16の表
面の溶融代Bよりもハンガーピン12の溶融代C
が大きくなり、その溶融合成樹脂は溜り部14に
流れる。その後ハンガーピン12の回転を止める
と溶融合成樹脂が冷却され固化しハンガーピン1
2と内箱16とが溶着される。
この場合、ハンガーピン12の合成樹脂の軟化
点温度を内箱16の合成樹脂の軟化点温度よりも
低くしておくことで、内箱の溶融代Bが、ハンガ
ーピン12の溶融代Cよりも比較的小さくなるた
め、内箱16の溶融により薄肉になるための強度
劣化は最小限におさえられ、板厚全体が高温にな
り難いので、弾性率も保持され、ある程度の圧力
が加わつても内箱16の変形にならない。また比
較的内箱16の表面層で温度上昇となるためウレ
タン等断熱材18までの熱の影響が少なくてす
む。
以上のように本考案は外箱と、熱可塑性合成樹
脂の内箱と、これら両箱間に充填されたウレタン
樹脂等の発泡断熱材と、熱可塑性樹脂でなりネツ
ト等の内装部品を取り付ける回転摩擦溶接用のハ
ンガーピンとより成り、このハンガーピンの軟化
点温度を前記内箱の軟化点温度より低くしたもの
であるから、内箱には従来の如くハンガーピン用
の穴、及び取り付けに係る部品等を必要とせずシ
ール作業が不要でコスト的にも安価となる。
また回転摩擦溶接用のハンガーピンは軟化点温
度が低いので内箱への溶着時、内箱、断熱材への
悪影響を生じない断熱効果の高い断熱箱がえられ
る等、実用効果の大なるものである。また、溶融
合成樹脂が溜り部及び中空部に流入するので、接
合部にこの溶融合成樹脂がもりあがつて接合面に
凹凸を形成することがないので、強度の低下もな
い。

  1. 外箱と、熱可塑性合成樹脂の内箱と、これら両
    箱間に充填されたウレタン樹脂等の発泡断熱材
    と、熱可塑性樹脂でなりネツト等の内装部品を取
    り付ける回転摩擦溶接用のハンガーピンとより成
    り、このハンガーピンの軟化点温度を前記内箱の
    軟化点温度より低くし、かつ、ハンガーピンの溶
    着面にはあらかじめくりぬいた中空部とこの中空
    部の周囲に位置する溶融樹脂溜り部を設けてなる
    断熱箱。
