Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は曲面ガラス用ウィンターブレードに関するもの
で、特に押し出し成形のブレードでガラス曲面への追従
性改良を図ったものである。
〔従来の技術〕
従来ウィンターブレードにおいては第３図に見られる様
に払拭部１と袋部２から成り立っており、袋部２の内部
へ水が入り込まない様、それらが一体的に成形されてい
るもの、また別々に成形して後で貼り合わせているもの
がある。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
このタイプのブレードは一級のブレード（袋部２のない
タイプ）と比較して、袋部２の剛性により、ブレード長
手方向において、曲面ガラスに追従し難いという欠点が
見られた。また追従性を上げるため、袋部２の肉厚を薄
くしていくと、長期間の使用の間に大気中のオゾンに袋
部２が侵され、破れてしまうという欠点があった。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
このために本発明は払拭部（１）と、該払拭部（１）に
一体成形された袋部（２）とを有する弾性材からなる曲
面ガラス用のウインターブレードにおいて、 前記袋部（２）の両側面にブレード長手方向において筋
状に形成された蛇腹部分（３）を設けたものである。
〔概要〕
本発明は上記問題点に鑑みて考え出されたものであり、
第２図において、袋部２の両側面に長手方向に均一な蛇
腹部分３を設けることにより、曲面ガラスへの追従性を
改良しようというものである。
本発明によると第４図に示す如く、ガラス面４の回りご
みの大きいところでは、袋部２の肉厚が多少厚く剛性が
高くても、蛇腹部分３がａに示す様に伸長するため、容
易にガラスに追従でき、拭き残しを生じないという利点
が生まれる。
一方、第５図に示す如く、従来は、袋部２の背部及び両
側部にブレード長手方向と垂直に蛇腹部５を設けたもの
も存在するが、これは袋部２を払拭部１と別々に成形せ
ざるを得す、袋内部の防水性、コスト面から考えて、良
好なものではなかった。
この点、本発明によれば袋部２と払拭部１を一体成形で
製造する特に押し出し成形のウィンターブレードにおい
て、ガラス面への追従性、防水性、コスト面に優れるも
のである。
〔実施例〕
第１図は曲面ガラス用ウィンターブレードの一実施例を
示す斜視図であり、ゴム製の払拭部１と袋部２とが一体
に成形されており、袋部２内には図示されない（内部に
存在するため）ワイパブレード構成部品となるヨーク状
の金具等が周知の如（収納され、この金具は袋部２を貫
通するホルダー６に接続されている。ホルダー６には図
示しないワイパーアームが挿入され結合される。
第２図はｎ−ｎ断面を示し、袋部３に蛇腹部分３ｅＫ５

〔作用〕
この構成はガラス曲面４への追従性改良を狙ったもので
あり、第４図に見られる様に、曲面上をブレードが払拭
していく間に、移り変わっていく曲面に対して、蛇腹部
分３がａに示す様に初期状態から伸長して、払拭部ｌが
ガラス曲面４に容易に追従可能となるものである。
なお、本発明は袋部２と払拭部１を別々に成形するもの
にも適用できるが、特にそれらを一体的にさらには押し
出し成形するものにおいて効果的である。また袋部２の
両側面の蛇腹部分３は、曲面ガラス４の曲面の強弱に応
じて、所望の数だけを選択すればよい。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明によれば、ブレードの長手方向に押出し成形され
るものにおいても容易に蛇腹部分（３）を形成できるた
め、製作が容易であり、かつ曲面ガラスにブレードの両
端が容易に沿うようになっており、曲面ガラス用ウィン
ターブレードの払拭性能を向上できるという効果がある
。
又、このためには、単に成形型を変えるのみでよいため
、実施上のコストアップ要因が少なく実用的である。

第１図は本発明ブレードの一実施例を示す斜視図、第２
図は前記一実施例のｎ−ｎ断面図、第３図は第２図と同
様に示す従来例の断面図、第４図は前記一実施例の作動
を示す模式正面図、第５図はその他の従来例を示す斜視
図である。 １・・・払拭部、２・・・袋部、３・・・蛇腹部分。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 払拭部（１）と、該払拭部（１）に一体成形された袋部
    （２）とを有する弾性材からなる曲面ガラス用のウイン
    ターブレードにおいて、 前記袋部（２）の両側面にブレード長手方向において筋
    状に形成された蛇腹部分（３）を設けたことを特徴とす
    る曲面ガラス用ウインターブレード。
