本発明はダイヤモンドチップソーの製法に関し、特に取
付片を連結条を介して連結したのち、ソーブレードに取

(従来の技術)
石材や鋼材等の硬質材料を切断する場合、ダイヤモンド
チップソーが用いられる。 ダイヤモンドチップソーは
鋼製の無端帯状バンドや円板の縁に多数のダイヤモンド
チップを適当な間隔で取り付けたもので、硬質材料を切
断する鋸刃としては切れ味の点で優れたものであるが、
従前のダイヤモンドチップソーはバンドや円板に対して
熔接によって取り付けることとされていたため、バンド
や円板の溶接部分が熱変形することによる不具合が生じ
たのである。 それにも拘らずダイヤモンドチップをバ
ンドや円板に熔接したのは、ダイヤモンドチップを強固
に固着しなければならないと考えられていたことによる
のである゛が、実際にはこの様にすることによってダイ
ヤモンドチップが不斉となるためこれに加えられる衝撃
力が強くなって却ってダイヤモンドチップが使用中に脱

この様な不具合を解消するものとし′て1本発明者はダ
イヤモンドチップを断面コ字状の取付片を介してバンド
や円板に取り付ける方法を発明し、既に出願に及んでい
る(特開昭58−94914号)。 このものは金属製
板材をコ字状に折り曲げて取付片とし、その頂面にダイ
ヤモンドチップを熔接したのち、該取付片をバンドや円
板の所定の位置に挟み付けて固着するものであって、固
定手段がスポット溶接、ビス止め、接着等の簡易な方法
で足りるので、バンドや円板の取付部分の熔接によって

以上詳述した様に本発明は鋼製の無端帯状バンド又は円
板等のソーブレードにダイヤモンドチップを取り付ける
にあたり、二字状断面の取付片を連結条を介して所定の
間隔に連結し、然るのち、これをソーブレードに取り付
けるものであって、この様にすることによって、ソーブ
レードに対するダイヤモンドチップの位置決めが簡単に
なって作業能率が著しく向上するのであり、殊に使用中
において取付片の中にソーブレードとの接合状態の解か
れるものが生じても、これが直ちに脱落することなく切
削作業をそのまま続行することが出来るので、作業の停
止によるトラブルやダイヤモンドチップソーが使用不能
になることによる損害を防止することができるのである
