(従来の技術)
石材や鋼材等の硬質材料を切断する場合、ダイ
ヤモンドチツプソーが用いられる。ダイヤモンド
チツプソーは鋼製の無端帯状バンドや円板の縁に
多数のダイヤモンドチツプを適当な間隔で取り付
けたもので、硬質材料を切断する鋸刃としては切
れ味の点で優れたものであるが、従前のダイヤモ
ンドチツプソーはバンドや円板に対して熔接によ
つて取り付けることとされていたため、バンドや
円板の熔接部分が熱変形することによる不具合が
生じたのである。それにも拘らずダイヤモンドチ
ツプをバンドや円板に熔接したのは、ダイヤモン
ドチツプを強固に固着しなければならないと考え
られていたことによるのであるが、実際にはこの
様にすることによつてダイヤモンドチツプが不斉
となるためこれに加えられる衝撃力が強くなつて
却つてダイヤモンドチツプが使用中に脱落する結

この様な不具合を解消するものとして、本発明
者はダイヤモンドチツプを断面コ字状の取付片を
介してバンドや円板に取り付ける方法を発明し、
既に出願に及んでいる(特開昭58−94914号)。こ
のものは金属製板材をコ字状に折り曲げて取付片
とし、その頂面にダイヤモンドチツプを熔接した
のち、該取付片をバンドや円板の所定の位置に挟
み付けて固着するものであつて、固定手段がスポ
ツト熔接、ビス止め、接着等の簡易な方法で足り
るので、バンドや円板の取付部分の熔接によつて

落することとなり、結局ダイヤモンドチツプソー

ち、これをソースブレードに取り付けるものであ
つて、この様にすることによつて、ソーブレード
に対するダイヤモンドチツプの位置決めが簡単に
なつて作業能率が著しく向上するのであり、殊に
使用中において取付片の中にソーブレードとの接
合状態のに解かれるものが生じても、これが直ち
に脱落することなく切削作業をそのまま続行する
ことが出来るので、作業の停止によるトラブルや
ダイヤモンドチツプソーが使用不能になることに
