Claims (2)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）発光管バ・ルブの両端部に対向して陽極と陰極を
    封止し、内部に始動用希ガス、水銀および金属ハロゲン
    化物を封入してなる発光管を備え、極性の反転のない電
    圧で水平点灯される１００Ｗ（ワ゛ント）以下の小形メ
    タルハライドランプにおいて、上記発光管バルブの陽極
    側の外表面に遮光膜を被着したことを特徴とする小形メ
    タルハライドランプ。
  2. （２）遮光膜はその有効長をＩ　（ｍｍ）とし陽極の突
    出長をｄ（順）としたとき、 １／ｄが１．２５ないし１．７５ となる範囲に被着されていることを特徴とする実用新案
    登録請求の範囲第（１）項記載の小形メタルハライドラ
    ンプ。
