Claims (3)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）　　ステアリングハンドルの回転操作によって転
    舵を行うマニアル系統と、該マニアル系統の転舵トルク
    に応じて回転駆動し上記マニアル系統の転舵方向に転舵
    力を補助する電動モータを備えたラックアンドピニオン
    式電動パワーステアリング装置において、ステアリング
    ギヤボックス内ら軸方向にスライド可能に支持されるラ
    ック軸を、マニアル系統のピニオンが噛合ウマニアル用
    ラック歯と電動モータにより回転される電動モータ側ピ
    ニオンが噛合う補助用ラック歯とをラック材上の異る位
    置に別々に形成した構造としたことを特徴とする電動パ
    ワーステアリング装置。
  2. （２）マニアル用ラック歯と補助用ラック歯は、互にそ
    の歯ピッチを異にした構造となっていることを特徴とす
    る実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項に記載の電動パワース
    テアリング装置。
  3. （３）　　マニアル用ラック歯と補助用ラック歯は、そ
    のいずれか一方又は双方がバリアプルレシオに構成され
    ていることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項
    又は第２項に記載の電動パワーステアリング装置。
