第４〜１１図は本考案の一実施例としての自動車にそな
えられるエンジン冷却ファン駆動装置を示すもので、第
４図はその縦断面図、第５図はその要部の斜視図、第６
図は第４図のＶＩ−ＶＩ矢視断面図、第７図はその作用
を説明するための要部の縦断面図、第８図はその弁部開
閉駆動機構を第５図の■矢視方向からみた側面図、第９
〜１１図はいずれもその作用を説明するためのグラフで

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. エンジンからの回転駆動力を受ける駆動軸部と、上記エ
    ンジンの冷却ファンを回転するファンシャフトとをそな
    えるとともに、上記の駆動軸部またはファンシャフトの
    いずれか一方に付設されたケーシングと、同ケーシング
    の壁面と上記の駆動軸部またはファンシャフトの他方と
    の間に形成された流体継手部と、同流体継手部の円環状
    作動室と同軸的に配設されて同作動室よりも小径の作動
    流体貯蔵室と、同貯蔵室から上記作動室への作動流体供
    給路に介装された制御用バルブ機構とをそなえ、同バル
    ブ機構が、上記貯蔵室の壁部にお′　いてその半径方向
    にほぼ沿うように形成された開口部と、同開口部に整合
    して同開口部を半径方向へ徐々に開口させるシャッター
    穴をそなえたバルブプレートとで構成されるとともに、
    上記エンジンの冷却水温を検出する冷却水温センサと、
    同冷却水温センサの検出量に応じて上記バルブ機構を作
    動させるべく、上記バルブプレートを上記貯蔵室の壁部
    に対し相対的に回転させるバルブ開閉駆動部とが設けら
    れたことを特徴とする、エンジン冷却ファン駆動装置。
