Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は、室内の冷房あるいは冷暖房を行なう空気調和
機において、熱交換器から落ちる露を空気調和機外に落
さないエアフィルタの取付装置に関するものである。
従来例の構成とその問題点 従来、この種の空気調和機は、第１図に示すように空気
調和機本体１の内部の送風ファン２によって裏面下部の
吸込口３よりエアフ４）レタ１を通して空気を吸込み、
熱交換器４で熱交換された空気を吹出口＄より吹出さす
。この時熱交換器４の温度が吸込空気の露点温度より低
い場合は熱交換器４に結露し、その水は熱交換器４をっ
たって熱交換器４下部の水受皿６で受けられ外部へ排出
される。
ところがこの構造では、熱交換器４の傾斜を大きくする
と熱交換器ぺの上部に結露した水か熱交？　１ 換器４に伝わりきれず、そのままエアフィルタミへ落下
しエアフィルタ翫の下部より空気調和機本体１外へ落ち
る問題があり、そのため熱交換器４の傾斜も制限が加え
られてしまう問題があった。
また、その対策として水受皿龜を左方向に大きくすると
空気調和機本体１からの滴下は防げるが、水受皿毎を大
キくシたために空気調和機本体１下部からの空気の流通
が阻害され、能力低下を生じる等の問題もあった。
発明の目的 本発明は、上記従来の問題点を解消するもので空気調和
機本体より結露した水の水受皿外への滴下防止を目的の
一つとするものである。
発明の構成 この目的を達成するために本発明は、熱交換器下部に取
付けられるエアフィルタの下端を水受皿内にはいるよう
に構成したものである。
この構成によって、熱交換器が大きく傾斜していても結
露した水の空気調和機本体外への滴下が防止できるもの
である。
実施例の説明 以下、本発明の一実施例について第２図を参考に説明す
る。
同図において、８は空気調和機本体で裏面下部に吸込口
９が設けられ、前面上部には吹田口１０か設けられてい
る。また前記空気調和機本体８内部の風回路には表面に
抗水処理が施されたエアフィルタ１１、熱交換器１２、
送風ファン１３が具備されており、結露された水を受け
る水受皿１４か熱交換器１２の下部に設けられている。
なお風の流れは矢印で示す通りである。ここでエアフィ
ルタ１１の下部は水受皿１４の内側にはいりこんでいる
。またエアフィルタ１１の材料を挑水性材とし、エアフ
ィルタ１１に検水効果をもたらせてもよい。
上記構成において、冷房運転を行なう際には、熱交換器
１２で結露した水の一部は熱交換器１２自体を伝って熱
交換器１２下部の水受皿１４に集められる。また一部は
熱交換器１２より直接滴下し、エアフィルタ１１に流れ
る。そしてエアフィルタ１１を伝わり水受皿１４に集め
られる。
したがって、熱交換器１２がいくら傾斜していても熱交
換器１２から滴下するすべての結露水はエアフィルタ１
１で受け止められ、水受皿１４に集められるため、空気
調和機本体８より他に滴下することはなくなる。またエ
アフィルタ１１の抗水作用により、結露水の流下が確水
となって滴下作用か一層確実化される。
発明の効果 上記実施例より明らかなように本発明は、エアフィルタ
の下部を水受皿内部に位置させたため、熱交換器よりの
結露水が空気調和機本体内に滴下することかなくなり、
またそのために熱交換器の傾斜が自由に設定でき、設計
条件が規制されることもないなどの効果を奏する。
また、エアフィルタに抗水性のものを使用する−　とそ
の効果はより確実となる。

Claims (2)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）空気調和機本体内に、傾斜して設置された熱交換
    器と、エアフィルタと、送風ファンと、水受皿を具備し
    、かつ傾斜した熱交換器の傾斜側の下部より風が吸い込
    まれる室内側通風回路を形成し、前記エアフィルタの下
    部を水受皿内部に位置させた空気調和機のエアフィルタ
    取付装置。
  2. （２）エアフィルタに倹水処理を施した特許請求の範囲
    第１項に記載の空気調和機のエアフィルタ取付装置。
