PURPOSE:To enable execution of a scanned device without modification of hardware of a controller and control programs by providing a simple addition device at every scanned device in lead scanning system for specifying a device. CONSTITUTION:When a scanning control part SCNC33 discriminates the specification of a self-system addition device ADP with aid of output information of a input port PIP31, a scanning gate in a lead scan information interface INF32 is opened. As a result, lead scan information of an output lead 2 is outputted to a lead scan information line RSDB5 and displayed on a display part 62. In case of stopping the lead scan, if a key of a device specifying key part 60 is operated, scan stoppage information is transmitted to an ADP3 through a scan specifying information line SSDB4. Consequently, the SCNC33 of the ADP3 recognizes the scan stoppage of the self-system ADP, and closes the scanning gate of the INF32.
