Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 度検出器に関するものである。
従来、この種の光温度センサーにおいては、第１図に示
すように、光送信機側の光ファイバ２ａのコア径と光受
信機側の光ファイバ４ａのコア径が同一に形成されてお
り、このため第２図に示すように、光送信機側の光ファ
イバ２ａから出射する光が矢印で示すように広角に拡が
ってしまい、半導体センサ５ａを介して連結された光受
信機側の光ファイバ４ａに入射する光は減少してしまう
等、その間で損失が生じ、光温度センサーによる測定性
能を高度化てきないという欠点があった。
本発明は、かかる従来の欠点を解決するために提案され
たもので、光送信機側の光ファイバの出射光を半導体等
のセンサ部を通過させる際に損出させないで光受信機側
へほぼ入射させることができ、測定性能を高度化させる
とともに、簡単な構造にして好適な実施を可能にした温
度検出器を提供せんとするものである。
以下、本発明に係る温度検出器を図面に示した実施例に
基づいて詳細に説明する。
第３図は本発明に係る温度検出器の要部説明図であって
、１は光送信機、２は光送信機１側の光ファイバ、３は
光受信機、４は光受信機３側の光ファイバ、５は半導体
センサであり、光送信機１側の光ファイバ２のコア径を
例えば５０μｍの小径に形成し、受信機３側の光ファイ
バ４のコア径を１００μｍの大径に形成し、両光ファイ
バ２および４の端部が対応して連結することになる半導
体センサ５の連結両面６ａ、６ｂには無反射コーティン
グを施して構成されている。
したがって、光送信機側光ファイバ２から出射された光
が第２図に示すように拡がっても、光受信機側光ファイ
バ４のコア径が大であるので充分に入射できることにな
り、しかも、半導体センサ５の連結両面６ａ、６ｂには
無反射コーティングを施しであるので、連結面における
光の反射による損失が解決される状態となる。
以上、本発明に係る実施例を図面に基づいて説明したよ
うに、光送信機側の光ファイバのコア径より光受信機側
の光ファイバのコア径を大きく形成するとともに、両光
ファイバの連結部に装着される半導体センサの連結両面
には無反射コーティングを施して構成したものであるか
ら、光送信機側の光ファイバから光受信機側の光ファイ
バに対し光損失を減少させた良好な出射が可能になり、
光温度センサーとしての性能を一段と向上させることが
できるとともに、簡単な構造であり、容易に実施できる
等の効果を奏する。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 光送信機側における光ファイバのコア径より光受信機側
    における光ファイバのコア径を大きく形成するとともに
    、両光ファイバの間に装着する半導体センサの連結両面
    に無反射コーティングを施した乙とを特徴とする光フア
    イバ式温度検出器。
