Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本案は鞘付きナイフに係るもので、鞘の取り外しを行う
際に把柄を握持した手の親指で鞘を押し出すようにして
、鞘の取り外しに便ならしめたものである。
従来の前記作用をなす構成として鞘の口部側面或は上面
に突起を形成し、該突起を親指で押出するようにしたも
のが存在したが、鞘口部側面に突起を設けてなるものは
、把柄の握持に際して突起を押出する場合と、ナイフと
して使用する場合とでは握りの位置が相違するので、い
ちいち把柄を持ち変える必要があり操作性に欠点を有し
、鞘が外方へ移動するに伴なって鋭い刃部エツジ７が急
に露出してくるので危険性が大きいものである。
また鞘口部上面に突起を設けてなるものは、握り変えの
必要はないが上方に突起が突出しているため、収納ケー
スの製造が不便である等、突起が邪魔になる欠点を有す
る。
そこで本案は把柄１の上部前縁に切欠部２を設け、該切
欠部２に蟻形突条３を長手方向に形成し、別に底面に蟻
形の嵌合溝を設けた鞘押し摺動片４を形成して、上記突
条３に嵌合溝を嵌着せしめて摺動片４を切欠部２に装着
してなるもので、把柄１を握持した手の親指で、摺動片
４を前方に移動せしめると鞘５を前方へ押し出して鞘５
を取り外するものである。
従って鞘５の押し出し作用は把柄１の上部で行なうため
握り換えの必要がなく、しかも親指には直上から力が入
るので、力の無駄もなく能率も良くそれだけ小さい力で
外すことができると共に、従来のもののように鞘５には
突出部分がないので、収納時に不便が生じない利点を有
する。
又鞘５を取り外する際に鋭い刃部エツジ７が急に露出し
ても、指がその部分へ近づく操作が全くないので、誤っ
て手、指等を傷ける虞もなく安全性に於ても優れている
ものである。
更に摺動片４を前方へ突出せしめた状態で使用した際、
摺動片４が刀体６の背押えとなるので、この部分に親指
等を当てれば容易に刀が入って使い易く、且つ危険性の
少ない利点をも有する。
尚摺動片４の底面後端及び切欠部２の前縁に小突起を形
成しておくと、摺動片４が把柄１より離脱することがな
い。

。 １は把柄、２は切欠部、３は蟻形突条、４は摺動片、５
は鞘、６は刀体。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 把柄上部前縁に切欠部を設け、該切欠部長手方向に蟻形
    突条を形成し、底面に嵌合溝を設けた鞘押し摺動片を該
    突状に装着してなる鞘付きナイフ。
