DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a decorative sheet.
Although the base material is thin paper of approximately 40 y/d, it is easy to adhere flatly to substrates with recesses such as plywood, and has excellent paper-to-paper strength, and has excellent ink adhesion and resistance when printing patterns. To obtain a decorative sheet which also has an excellent coloring effect.

Conventionally, the most common decorative sheet for building and furniture materials is 2.
3j/Thin paper of about Trl is used and because it is very thin, it is less effective in hiding the color of substrates such as plywood and particle board.

Therefore, if you increase the paper thickness and use paper of, for example, 30 to 40 y/Tr, the strength between the paper sheets will decrease, and if you stick cellophane adhesive tape on the surface of the decorative paper, it will be easier to peel off from the paper sheet. , there are problems such as the tendency to cause eye thinning when attached to a substrate such as plywood. Therefore, in order to solve the above problems, synthetic resin is mixed into the paper during paper making, and a synthetic resin liquid is applied to the paper surface before pattern printing to strengthen the inter-paper strength and give even a little rigidity to the decorative paper. Attempts have also been made to reduce eye loss.

However, when looking microscopically at the surface of decorative paper mixed with or coated with the above-mentioned resins, it is possible to see scattering or bleeding of the printing ink due to minute irregularities during papermaking or fluffing of the fibers, or the vehicle in the ink being mixed into the paper. It is difficult to produce beautiful printed decorative paper due to color development and loss of luster due to inhalation.

In the present invention, as a result of studying the above problems, after forming an impermeable (oil) layer using thermoplastic synthetic resin on the surface of thin paper, it can be used as is or after surface roughening treatment, and then the surface can be printed using normal gravure printing or offset printing. This problem was solved by printing a pattern.

Note that a synthetic resin paint such as urethane resin or acrylic resin may be applied as a sealer 5 to the surface of the thin paper 1 in advance. Furthermore, when the water-impermeable (oil) layer 2 of thermoplastic synthetic resin is pressurized with a calender roll or the like, the thermoplastic synthetic resin is press-fitted into one layer of thin paper and a smooth finish can be achieved.

The synthetic resin paint used as the sealer 5 may be urethane, acrylic resin, or the like, and may be applied at a rate of about 5 to 10 t/Trl using a roll coater or gravure coater. The thermoplastic synthetic resin that will become the water-impermeable (oil) layer 2 is a general-purpose polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, vinyl chloride resin, etc., heated and melted using a T-die or gravure coater (thickness 10 to 200 μm).

Surface roughening such as corona discharge treatment or acid treatment to form minute irregularities 7 on the surface of the water-impermeable (oil) layer 2 as needed, and the anchor coat 6 applied to the upper surface of the surface roughening, are performed using printing inks 3, 4. This is done for the purpose of improving adhesion to the water-impermeable (oil) layer 2, and does not need to be carried out if, for example, the thermoplastic resin of the water-impermeable (oil) layer 2 is vinyl chloride resin or polystyrene resin.

For example, when corona discharge treatment is applied to polyethylene or polypropylene resin, the output is 3 to 4 KW and the frequency is 110 KHz.
It's fine as long as it's a certain amount. The anchor coat is a urethane resin paint with excellent adhesion. The pattern printing 3 and 4 is performed by overprinting two or three plates using conventional gravure printing, letterpress printing, offset printing, etc. to express a desired pattern.

(1) Since the thin paper has a water-impermeable (oil) layer made of thermoplastic synthetic resin on its surface, it has a certain degree of rigidity as a decorative sheet and can be smoothly attached to substrates such as plywood. (2
) Since the surface of the thin paper is treated with a sealer coat such as urethane or acrylic resin, and an impermeable (oil) layer is provided, the interpaper strength is greatly improved.

However, when looking at this ink layer microscopically, the ink layer loses its shape on the thin paper surface and loses its sharpness, reducing the printing effect. However, in the present invention, since an impermeable (oil) layer is formed on the surface of the thin paper, there is no ink suction or bleeding, and printing is possible with a small amount of ink, so the ink layer remains very sharp without losing its shape. You can print.

(6) Since the decorative sheet of the present invention is based on thin paper, its dimensions are more stable against heat than vinyl chloride sheets made of a single synthetic resin, so it is resistant to the heat of drying printing ink during printing. The sheet hardly stretches or contracts, and it is easy to print patterns similar to paper, resulting in a precise printing finish without causing any misalignment of the printed pattern. In addition, when bonding to a substrate such as plywood, even if the adhesive used is a water-based or emulsion type adhesive that easily stretches and contracts the paper, the thermoplastic synthetic resin formed on the paper surface is water-impermeable (oil-impermeable). ) layer prevents the paper from expanding and contracting, the decorative sheet can be applied accurately without wrinkles or misalignment, and the decorative sheet of the present invention is dimensionally stable against moisture. (7) When attaching to a substrate such as plywood,
Because the adhesive surface is thin paper, ordinary general-purpose vinyl acetate resin adhesive can be used, and it is a cheaper adhesive than conventional adhesives used to adhere sheets made of pure synthetic resin such as vinyl chloride sheets and synthetic paper. Can be used.

Example 1 A urethane resin paint of 107/7rI was applied as a sealer to the surface of a thin paper weighing 23y/Trl, and then dried to remove the solvent in the paint. Next, 10% by weight of titanium white was mixed into the polyethylene resin heated and melted at 250°C. The resulting thermoplastic synthetic resin was injection coated using a T-die to form an impermeable (oil) layer with a thickness of 25 μm.
