As for the display means in p), each time all fault data is received, the fault type/occurrence location of the fault data is immediately displayed, for example, by an error code, regardless of the severity of the fault content. Therefore, in this method, the CPU
It can identify temporary minor failures that do not affect continuous operation, such as the activation of parity detection or automatic correction (ECC), as well as severe failures, such as failures due to logic circuit main power failure or damage to important circuit elements. Therefore, the severe earlier error code that was being displayed on the display screen is replaced with the frequently occurring mild later error code that hardly needs to be displayed, and the operator is unable to detect the severe earlier error code. The problem was that it was difficult to recognize the code. Further, even if the operator attempts to erase a minor error code each time using an input means such as a light pen or a keyboard, and display a desired severe error code, for example, the operation is cumbersome. ? There are cases where reproducibility is poor while the CPU is continuing to process a job.

The present invention aims to provide an error code display method that automatically removes the deletion specification error code expected by the operator and displays the error code.

The controller comprises a means for receiving and converting the error code into a display error code, a means for displaying the error code, a data input means using a light bench and a keyboard, and a means for buffering and storing the error code to be displayed. The error code to be sent is set in the data log table and buffer storage means each time and displayed on the screen of the display means, while when an error code to be deleted from display is specified by operation of the input means, the error code is set in the data log table and buffer storage means and displayed on the screen of the display means. The error code is registered in the buffer storage means and the display means, and the aforementioned error code in the data table is set and displayed in place of the error code in the buffer storage means and the display means. An error code characterized by accessing a deletion registration table and inhibiting setting of an error code that matches a registered error code in a buffer storage means and causing the display means to continue displaying the error code held in the buffer storage means. This can be achieved by providing a full display format.

is a data processing device, and 10 is, for example, a microprocessor (
11 is a storage section by RA OM, 12 is an input/output port by a peripheral relay adapter (PIA), and 13 is not shown, but it receives fault information from a fault detection section provided in the CPU 2. 14 is a display; 15 is a register that buffers and stores the error code to be displayed on the display 14; 16 is an input unit such as a light bench and a keyboard;
Note that 11a is a control program in the storage area of the storage unit 11, 11b is control data, 11c is an error log table, and lld is an deletion registration table. In the configuration shown in the figure, a control unit 10 accesses a storage unit 11, controls each component in accordance with a control program lla and control data llb, and processes fault information sent from the CPU 2. If the operator does not operate the input section 16 at this point, the
) As shown in K, as in the past, the fault information that is input to the CPU in large quantities is converted into Sheller code by the converter 13 and stored one by one in the error log table LLC. register 1 instead of code
Set to 5. The error code set in register 15 is displayed on display 1 in the same way as in normal display display operations.
There is no difference in that the data is converted into dont data corresponding to the light spot on the screen of No. 4 by a character generating section (not shown) and is scanned and displayed at, for example, 30 frames per second. On the other hand, when the operator operates the input unit 16 and inputs a designation to delete the displayed error code, the control unit 10 registers the error code in the all deletion registration table lid, as shown in FIG. 2(b). Furthermore, the error log table llc is accessed and, for example, 1 is recorded in a flag indicating that the error code has been designated to be deleted. Further, the control unit 10 sequentially goes back from the address of the error code, selects another error code that does not have a flag of 1, sets the selected error code in the register 15, and displays it on the display screen 14.

Next, return to OO and write the -H error code and flag O' on top of the old error code, and write the 256 error codes specified for deletion registered in the deletion registration table lid mentioned above. It is assumed that a flag is written to 1 for the error code in the entire address range.

Regarding the failure information manually inputted from U, each error code sent by the conversion unit 13 is recorded in the error log table lid, and the deletion registration table LLC is accessed and compared with the registered error code, and when they match. 0 displayed on the display 14 in place of the error code set to 5 and currently displayed. When access to the deletion registration table llc matches, a flag 1 is added to the corresponding record in the error log table lid. Also, since the error code to which a flag is added to the recorded content of the error log table LLC and the registered error code of the deletion registration table lid match in content, the n recording areas of the error log table LLC are set to be sufficiently large. For example, the daily amount can be covered by recording, and there is no problem even if the deletion registration error code ID is shared. If the control section 10 has a sub-digit capacity, the function of the conversion section 13 may be replaced with a part of the control section 10, and the storage area of the storage section 11 which also has the function of the register 15 may be used. It goes without saying that if necessary, the answers in the error log table 1idO can be displayed on the screen of the display 14 by separately specifying the recording order or the reverse j-row.

られる0(g) As described in detail, according to the present invention, the display operation of the error log that has been designated for deletion is automatically removed by the operator's deletion designation, which is a drawback of conventional error log display methods. A useful error code display method with good operability is obtained in which error codes indicating severe failure information are not erased from the display due to frequent input of minor error codes.

るエラーコード表示方式。In a maintenance service processing device that processes fault information sent by a data processing device, the maintenance service processing device is equipped with a data quadruple and deletion registration table in its storage unit, and means for receiving the fault information and converting it into a display error code. , a means for displaying the error code, a data storage means such as a light bar and a keyboard, and a means for buffering and storing the error code to be displayed. When an error code is set in the buffer storage means and displayed on the screen of the display means, when an error code to be deleted is specified by the operation of the long sword means, the error code is registered in the deletion registration table and is displayed on the screen of the display means. The above-mentioned error code in the substitute data log table is set and displayed as the error code in the display means, and thereafter, each time an error code is sent from the conversion means, the control unit accesses the deletion registration table and displays the registration error code. An error code display method characterized in that setting of an error code that matches the buffer storage means is inhibited from being set in the buffer storage means, and the error code held in the buffer storage means is continuously displayed on the display means.
