Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. シートを積層載置するシート載置台と、このシート載置
    台のシート載置面からその周面の一部を突出させていて
    、給紙方向に選択的に回転する給紙ローラと、この給紙
    ローラの上記突出周面に圧接させた分離部材と、シート
    載置台に積載されたシート束を上記給紙ローラの突出周
    面に押圧するための圧板と、この圧板を選択的に駆動す
    る加圧手段を具備していて、積載されたシート束を下位
    のシートから順次繰出す繰出し式摩擦分離方式の給紙装
    置において、上記給紙ローラを選択的に駆動する駆動手
    段と、給紙ローラが送り出したシートを検知するセンサ
    と、上記駆動手段が作動を開始したときから所定時間を
    計時するタイマと、上記加圧手段の作動を制御する制御
    回路と、この制御回路を、上記駆動手段が作動を開始し
    てから上記所定時間内に上記センサがシートを検知しな
    いとき、上記加圧手段を作動させる第１モード並びに上
    記所定時間にかかわりなく、上記駆動手段が作動を開始
    すると同時に上記加圧手段を作動させる第２、モードに
    選択するためのモード切換スオツチとを具備していて、
    モード切換スイッチの切換動作に応じて加圧手段の作動
    タイミングが２つのモードに切換えられることを特徴と
    する給紙装置。
