動指令値を記憶した記憶部を有し、前記駆動装置により
被測定物と検知手段とが相対移動され前記検知手段から
それらの接触に伴う検知信号を受けたとき被測定物と検
知手段とを前記記憶部の移i指令値に基づく寸法だけ同
方向へ相対移動させて停止させ、ついで被測定物と検知
手段とを前記記憶部の移動指令値に基づく寸法だけ逆方
向へ相対移動させたのち前記検知手段かろの検知信号を
判別し、その検知信号が接触に伴う信号のときは前記検
知手段と被測定物とを離れる方向へ、検知手段が離脱に
伴う信号のときは前記検知手段と被測定物とを接する方
向へそれぞれ相対移動させ、この相対移動中において前
記検知手段から被測定物との接離に伴う検知信号を受け
たときの前記位置検出手段の相対位置データを計測値と
