前記検知手段からの検知信号に基づき前記駆動手段の駆
動を制御するとともに被測定物i検知手段との接触位置
を計測する制御手段とを備え、この制御手段は、一定の
移動指令値を記憶した記憶部を有し、前記駆動手段−に
より被測定物と検知手段とが相対移動され前記検知手段
からそれらの接触に伴う検知信号を受けたとき前記駆動
手段の駆動により更に被測定物と検知手段とを前記記憶
部の移動指令値に基→く寸法だけ同芳向へ相対移動させ
て停止させ、ついで。 この相対移動の方向とは逆方向へ前記記憶部の移゛動指
令値に基づく寸法だけ相対移動させた後、更に同方向へ
相対移動させ、この相対移動中においせ前記検知手段か
ら被測定物の離脱に伴う検知信号を喪けたときの前記位
