対移動に関する指令値データを出力する指令手段と、前
記検知手段と前記被測定物との相対位置を検知しその相
対位置データを出力する位置検出手段と、前記検知手段
からの検知信号に基づき前記駆動手段の駆動を制御する
とともに被測定物と検知手段との接触位置を計測する制
御手段とを備え、この制御手段は、前記駆動手段により
被測定物と検知手段とが相対移動され前記検知手段から
それらの接触に伴う検知信号を受けたとき前記指令値デ
ータと前記位置検出手段からの相対位置データの差だけ
同方向へ相対移動させて停止させた後、前記駆動手段を
逆方向へ駆動させ、この駆動手段により被測定物と検知
手段とが前記とは逆方向へ相対移動され前記検知手段か
らそれらの離脱に伴う検知信号を受けたとき前記指令値
データと前記位置検出手段からの相対位置データとの差
だり同方向へ相対移動させて停止させ、ついでこの相対
移動の方向とは逆方向へ相対移動させ、この相対移動中
において前記検知手段から被測定物との接触に伴う検知
信号を受けたときの前記位置検出手段の相対位置データ
を計′測値としそ出力する手段を含むことを特徴とする
