Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 歯科医の治療行為を容易にするため、またノ・ンドピー
ス内部の手入れのため、ノ・ンドピース本体鞘の頭部と
対向端に設けた受入通路内に離脱可能に且つ相対回転自
在に密封接続される接続部材を有する型式の歯科用・・
ンドピースは既に公知である（例えば特開昭５４＝５６
２９２１歯科用）・ンドピース」 ）。
本件出願人に釦いても、同趣旨でしかも新規な構造の歯
科用・・ンドピースを先に出願中である（実願昭５４−
９８５１１ｒ歯利用バンドピース」。

本体鞘と接続部材の接続装置」 ）。
本考案は、このような本体鞘と接続部材とが相互に離脱
可能で且つ相対回転可能な型式の歯科用・・ンドピース
でありながら、光源部と光学的に連結する光学繊維を内
部に組入れて工具軸の近辺に患部を照射する光を得られ
るようないわゆる光学・・ンドピースを実現したもので
ある。
以下図面の実施例によって説明すると、１が・・ンドピ
ースで、相互に離脱可能でしかも相対回転自在な本体鞘
２と接続部材３とから成る。
接続部材３は、その長手方向中心を貫いてグラスファイ
バー束のような光学繊維４を挿通支持して、その先端面
４ａ’ｌｒ正面中心開口３ａより僅に突出させ、外端面
４ｂを外部に備えた光源部りと光学的に連結しである。
このほか、接続部材３の長手方向には、光学繊維４を避
けた偏心位置に駆動エアーとチップエアーの送気、送水
、排気のための流体圧力連通路８ａ 、８ｂ 、８ｃ
、８ｄが設けられ、また本体鞘２への嵌着装置９が備え
られる。
本例ではこの嵌着装置９は、本体鞘２の受入通路２ｂ内
に封入された軸受１１の内側にバネ圧によって鉤止めす
る係止片装置１０として示されている。
他方、本体鞘２は、その長手方向に光学繊維５を挿通支
持して、その先端面５ａｅ本体鞘２の、内部に工具軸駆
動機構（図示していない）を有する頭部２ａに装置され
た工具軸６の近辺に設けた光照射窓Ｔの外へ突出させ、
その後端面５ｂは本体鞘２の受入通路２ｂの谷部中心開
口２Ｃより僅に突出させである。
そのほか、本体鞘２には、その頭部２ａの対向端の受入
通路２ｂ内に軸受１１が軸受押え１２によって封入され
ている。
そこで今、上記構成の本体類２と接続部材３とを継ぐと
、第２図に示すように両者はその嵌着装置９（本例では
係止片装置１０）により容易に離脱が可能であると共に
軸受１１を大して相対回転が円滑に行われる。
そして接続部材３側の中心部に挿通支持した光学繊維４
の先端面４ａと本体類２側に挿通支持した光学繊維５の
後端面５ｂとが常に突合わさった状態で相対回転が許容
されつつ光学的には連結する。
本案・・ンドピースは以上のようであるから、歯科医が
これを使用するときは、本体類２と接続部材３とが円滑
に相対回転してきわめて使い易く、また注油、清掃等内
部の手入れを行う場合には簡単に離脱できる手段を備え
つつ、光源部の光を光学繊維４，５へ導入して、工具軸
６近辺に光照射をすることができる。
即ち照明下においての患部治療が可能となる。
以上から本省は、本体類と接続部材が相互に離脱可能で
且つ相対回転自在な型式の・・ンドビースにあっても、
バンドピースの外側でなく内部に照明手段を組込むこと
ができた光学・・ンドピースを提供し得たもので、１こ
とに有益なものである。

の外端面、５・・・光学繊維、５ａ・・・その先端面、
５ｂ・・・その後端面、６・・・工具軸、７・・・光照
射窓、Ｌ・・・光源部。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ・・ンドピース本体鞘の頭部と外対端に設けた受入通路
    内に離脱可能に且つ相対回転自在に密封接続される接続
    部材を有する歯科用ノ・ンドピース１において、その接
    続部材３の長手方向に光学繊維４を挿通支持してその先
    端面４ａを接続部材３の正面中心開口３ａ外へ臨１せる
    と共にその外端面４ｂ−を外部に備えた光源部りと光学
    的に連続し、他方１本体鞘２の長手方向に光学繊維５を
    挿通支持してその先端面５ａを本体鞘２０頭部２ａに装
    着された工具軸６の近辺に設けた光照射窓７に臨１せる
    と共にその後端面５ｂは本体鞘２の受入通路２ｂの谷部
    中心開口２ｃ外へ臨１せ、本体鞘２と接続部材３の接続
    状態において、本体鞘２側の光学繊維５後端面５ｂど接
    続部材３側の光学繊維４先端面４ａとが相対回転自在に
    常時突合わさるようにしたことを特徴とする光学・・ン
    ドピース。
