Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 るものである。
従来,自動車のエンジンルーム,トランクルーム,室内
等に設置されるタンクは設置スペースの確保,タンクの
取付作業,取扱い及び価格の面から隔壁タンクとする方
が便利である。しかしながら従来の自動車用隔壁タンク
の製造方法にあっては、複数個の単体タンクを取付金具
にて接合するとか、複数個の単体タンクの隣接する側壁
を接着剤で接合するとかの方法が提案されているが、い
ずれの方法においても自動車の振動,衝撃によー。
て接合部分が変形あるいは離脱する恐れがあり、また製
造工程が煩雑となり隔壁タンク自体高価となる問題があ
った。
本発明は上記の問題点を解決するものであり、自動車用
隔壁タンクの製造方法において熱可塑性樹脂からなン隔
壁タンク本体の上縁と、これに適合する蓋体の部分とを
電熱体あるいは熱風にて加熱溶融した後、隔壁タンクと
蓋体とを加圧し接合することにより、自動車の振動.衝
撃に十分耐えうる接合強度の優れた自動車用隔壁タンク
を得ることができ、また製造工程が簡単で自動車用隔壁
タンクを安価に提供することを目的とするものである。
以下本発明の一実施例を図面に基づき説明するに、/は
本発明の製造方法により得られた自動車用隔壁タンクで
あり該タンク/は隔壁タンク本体コと蓋体3からなる。
該本体コと蓋体3とはポリエチレン,ボリブロビレン,
ボリスチレン.塩化ビニル,ナイロン,ポリカーボネー
ト,’A B S等のjlj(uf qi性合成樹脂材
料にてそれぞれ射出成形により形成され、該本体ユと冷
体3とは後述する方法にて接合されている。本体コ内は
隔壁ダにて自動車の窓洗浄装置のウオッシャ−液収納部
Sとラジェーター(7) IJザーブ液収納液収とに仕
切られている。また7は外周壁及び隔壁ケの上縁9gは
補強リプ、9はウオッシャ−液を外部へ供給するための
ウオッシャ−モーターポンプ取付用凹部。
10、はタンク取付相ブラケットである。一方蓋体3に
は本体3の上縁7に適合する下縁//が外周及び内部に
形成されている。また/2はウオッシャ−液注入口、/
3はリザーブ液注入口である。
つぎに第3図、第9図に基づき本体コと蓋体3の接合方
法を説明するに、本体λの上縁7と蓋体3の下縁//と
を一定の間隔に保持し、その間隔内にニクロム線等の電
熱体/4’を挿入し、該電熱体/47に電流を通ずるこ
とにより本体−の上縁7と蓋体3の下縁//とを加熱し
、該部分が溶融状態となった後電熱体/lIを取り除い
て本体コの上縁7と蓋体3の下縁//とを嵌合し本体λ
と蓋体3を加II(シ、溶融部分が固化することにより
本体λと蓋体3が接合され、自動車用隔壁タンク/が得
られる。
上記実施例において、本体コの外周壁及び隔壁グに形成
された上縁りと蓋体3の外周及び内部に形成された下縁
//が加熱溶融することにより接合されているので接合
強度に優れ、ウオッシャ−液とりサーブ液が自動車の振
動、衝撃により外部に漏れたり、また相互に混合する恐
れがない。
上記実施例においては本体λの上縁7と、これに個含す
る蓋体3の部分とに熱風を吹付けることにより加熱溶融
することもでさる。この際、熱風の温度は/30′C−
300°C1加熱時間はλ〜39 sec 、風量は0
3〜34/d・露の範囲で行なうのか好ましい。また熱
風により加熱溶融する方法であれば本体コの上縁7及び
蓋体3の下縁//が全周にわたり同一平面ではなく段差
状あるいは曲面状に構成されている場合であっても容易
にかつ均一に加熱溶融することができる。
第9図は本体コと蓋体3との接合例を示すものであり、
第9図(A)は本体コの上縁7と、これに適合する蓋体
3の部分に7ランジ/Sを形成し接合面積を増大した実
施例、第q図CB)は段状に嵌合した寿施例、第q図(
C)は本体−と蓋体3との接合箇所に四部/ろを形成し
溶融パリが外部に突出しないよう構成した実施例である
本さ6明は上記の如く自動車用隔壁タンクの製造方法に
おいて、熱可塑性合成樹脂からなる隔壁タンク本体の上
縁と、これに適合する蓋体の部分とを電熱体あるいは熱
風にて加熱溶融した後、隔壁タンク本体と流体とを加圧
し接合するので、自動車の振動、衝撃に十分耐えうる接
合強度の優れた自動重用隔壁タンクを得ることができ、
また製造工程がMi4’iで自動車用隔壁タンク自体安
価に提供できる。また本発明においては加熱溶融して本
体と蓋体とを接合するので、無極性のポリオレフィン樹
脂にて構成された本体と蓋体であっても強固に接合する
ことができる。
