Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は必要に応じ自動的に着及び浮き上げを可能に
した自動車用クインドワイパー装置に関するものである
。
従来自動車のラインドワイパーにおいて、洗車時に立て
る以外は不使用時もクインド面に接したま＼であり、そ
の為にクインドとワイパーの拭子との間に塵や砂そして
工場等から出される鉄粉が入り込みそのま＼ワイパーを
作動させてウィンドガラスやワイパーの拭子を痛める原
因の一つでもあり、又寒冷時には拭子かクインドに凍り
付いてワイパーのモーターに負担が掛かり故障の原因の
一つにもなります。
本発明はこれらの現状を鑑みワイパーの不使用時は従来
のワイパースイッチを切るだけで自動的に浮き上げて保
持し、使用時は作動させるだけでワイパーが支柱本体か
ら自動的に離脱するとともにｊＩｈ常の連続作動を可能
にするワイパー装置を得る事を目的とする。
この発明を自動車用クインドワイパー装置の一実施例を
図面にもとづいて説明すれば次の通りである。
第１図示のものは第一実施例のワイパー着脱機構Ａでワ
イパーの浮き上げ状態を示す正面図、第２図はワイパー
着脱機構Ａの要部を示す一部切断斜視図を示すものであ
る。
ワイパー５に磁石３を固定し、ラインド１０下端のボデ
ィ一部に支柱用台座７と中柱６及び支柱本体１の一式（
上下寸法調整ボルト８と前後寸法調整ポノート９及びス
トッパー４と圧縮バネ１１を含む）を取り付け、支柱本
体１の上部に回転式磁石２を偏芯させて設け、重力によ
り保たれる形状でワイパーの固定磁石３の上面と相対す
る面を共に同極とする（第５図）。
ワイパー停止時には、ワイパーの固定磁石３が回転式磁
石２忙合致直前で急激にスピードが落ちるのと、相対す
る面が同極時に３間でのみ磁力が引き合う為に回転式磁
石２が半回転してワイパーの固定磁石３と磁着する時間
的余裕があり、又自動車走行時の衝撃でも確実に保持す
るバネ１１付きストッパー４を設ける（第３図）。
ワイパー始動時には支柱本体１の回転式磁石２に磁着さ
れたワイパーの固定磁石３が磁力の弱い水平移動で離脱
すると同時に急に磁力が反発力に変わり、回転式磁石２
が半回転（磁力の反発力士偏芯による重力作用）シ、ス
トッパー４で止まる（第４図）。
次に、通常のワイパー作動時には支柱本体１から離脱し
たワイパーが反転して民って来ても、今度は、磁力の引
き合う３間に入ってもスピードがある為に回転式磁石２
が回転する前に通り越して、相対する同極面の反発力内
に入り磁着する事なくワイパー５が通常の繰返し運動を
する事が出来る（第５図）。
この発明は以上説明したように従来のワイパー５に磁石
３を設け、ワイパー着脱機構Ａ（第２図）を装置するこ
とにより通常のワイパー作動から停止させた時のみ自動
的にワイパーを磁力で浮き上げて保持し、又始動時はワ
イパーを離脱させて通常のワイパー作動を行ない得る事
ができ、クインドガラス及びワイパーの接子を保護する
効果がある。

第１図は第゛一実施例のワイパー着脱機構Ａでワイパー
の浮き上げ状態を示す正面図、第２図は着脱機構Ａの要
部を示す一部切断斜視図、第３図はワイパー停止時に浮
き上げていく状況を示す経過図、第４図は始動時のワイ
パー離脱状況を示す経過図、第５図は通常のワイパー繰
返し運動時の状況を示す経過図である。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. ワイパ−５停止時のみ回転式磁石２が半回転してワイパ
    ーアームに固定された磁石３を磁力により浮き上げて保
    持し、ワイパー作動時にはワイパー５が支柱本体１から
    離脱すると同時に回転式磁石２が半回転して元に戻り、
    作動中は磁力の反発力で通常のワイパー、５作動を可能
    にする着脱機構Ａをワイパー５の運動系に連係させたこ
    とを特徴とするワイパー装置。
