PURPOSE:To ease gas engine maintenance and inspection by positioning maintenance and inspection parts of said engine so that they may front on an inspection open port of a case containing main parts of a heat pump. CONSTITUTION:An inspection open port 44 is formed in the frontal lower part of a case 40. Maintenance and inspection parts of an engine 10 such as a lid of an air cleaner 16, oil filter 46, lubricating oil supply port 48, draing plug 50 of lubricating oil, ignition plug 52, lubricating oil level inspection window 54 and the like face on the open port 44, to which a cover plate 56 is normally fitted and removed only at the time of maintenance and inspection.

油、交換なども必畳で、これらの点検整備かやシ易いこ
とが望ましい。

レベル点検窓54などが、開口44に臨んでいる。開口
44には通常は蓋板56が取付けられ(第3図)、整備
点検時のみこの蓋板54が取外される。この蓋板54に
はエアクリーナ16に外気を導く小孔56が形成されて
いる0第31図で58は排気熱交換器、60は排気消音
器である。排気消音器60から排出される排気はケース
40の正面に設けた小孔62から外部へ排出される。な
