Abstract
PURPOSE: To heighten the starting property of an air-cooled heat pump type cooler- heater, by providing a bypass tube which belongs to the intake system of a gas engine for driving the cooler-heater and which is opened only at starting in a cold state.
CONSTITUTION: A compressor 1, which is rotated by a gas engine 12, is provided with a four-way gas valve 2, an outdoor heat exchanger 3, a fan 4, a four-way liquid valve 5, a liquid receiver 6, a strainer 7, a throttle unit 8, an indoor heat exchanger 9, a fan 10 and an accumulator 11 so that an air-cooled cooler-heater is constituted as a whole. Gaseous fuel appropriate for running is supplied to the engine 12 through a zero governor 15, a first solenoid valve 16, a second solenoid valve 17 and a mixer 18. A bypass tube 20, which is fitted with a solenoid valve 21 that is opened only at starting, is provided to make a detour around the governor 15. Starting fuel is supplied through the bypass tube 20 at the starting.
