Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled coating layer with excellent corrosion resistance, by coating a paint prepared by adding a binder based on an alkali silicate to a self-decontaminating catalyst comprising a specific oxide so as to contain a specific amount of an oxidizing catalyst in the formed coating layer.
CONSTITUTION: In forming a self-decontaminating coating layer by coating a paint prepared by adding a binder based on an alkali silicate and contains one or more of zinc oxide, aluminum phosphate or zinc phosphate to a self-decontaminating catalyst comprising an oxide of one or more of a metal selected from Mn, CO, Ni, Cr, Cu, and Fe on a substrate material such as an inner wall or the like of an electric oven or the like, an oxidizing catalyst is contained in the formed coating layer in an amount of 2W8wt%. Further, the alkali silicate base material and a curing agent are contained in the coating layer in an amount of 50wt% or less and a filler of the binder comprising one or more of silica, alumina, mica or the like is contained therein in an amount of 50wt% or more. A characteristics of the coating layer, especially, corrosion resistance thereof is further enhanced compared to that of a conventional coating layer.
