Abstract
PURPOSE: An enameled wire thinly coated and excellent in wear resistance and surface lubricity, which is obtd. by forming a thin layer of a mixed, consisting of a specified wt. ratio of ABC resin and a low-molecular polyethylene on the outermost layer of the wire.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. ABC resin consisting of 100mol% acrylonitrile, about 20W100mol% styrene and about 10W50mol% butadiene is mixed with 50W200pts. wt. low-molecular polyethylene of MW3,000W5,000. Then the resulting mixt. is dissolved in an org. solvent such as xylene and after applied to the periphery of an enameled wire, it is baked at about 300W450°C to obtain the purpose enameled wire. It is possible to form a thin lubricating layer 0.001mm or less in thickness, because the mixt. of the ABC resin and the low-molecular polyethylene is dissolved in the solution in 9 concentration of as low as about 5%.
