Abstract
PURPOSE: To lower the coefft. of surface friction by coating a phosphorus compound as a lubricating layer on the surfaces of magnetic powder.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of magnetic powder whch is powder of a permanent magnet or ferrite are coated with a phosphorus compound such as a compound of a magnetic powder constituting element and phosphorus, an org. compound of phosphorus or an inorg. compound of phosphorus. Thence, this coating layer serves as a lubricating layer thereby lowering the coefft. of surface friction of the magnetic powder and improving the density and orientation characteristic of the powder magnet. Hence, the higher preformance of the magnet is achieved.
