Abstract
PURPOSE: To lower the coefft. of surface friction of magnetic powder by coating the surfaces of the magnetic powder with a chlorine compound as a lubricating layer.
CONSTITUTION: The surfaces of magnetic powder which is powder of a permannt magnet material or ferrite are coated with a chlorine comound such as a compound of the constituting element for the magnetic powder and chlorine or an org. compound contg. chlorine. By lowering the coefft. of surface friction of the magnetic powder in this way, the density and orientation characteristic of the powder magnet are improved and the magnet is made higher in performance.
