Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain coat having high adhesiveness, high antistatic property, and good chromaticity by the procedure in which galvanized iron pole is under-coated with a conductive paint containing Al powders, and then finished with an antistatic paint containing graphite particles of a grain size larger than the thickness of paint film.
CONSTITUTION: A galvanized iron pole is first under-coated with a conductive paint containing Al powders and then finished with an antistatic paint containing the graphite particles 3 of a grain size larger then the thickness of paint film in an amount not enough to change the color of paint. For example, a paint composed primarily of the vehicle 1 and the coloring pigment 2 is mixed with graphite particles of a grain size (100 to 150 mesh size) larger than the thickness (approx. 15 to 25 microns of paint film in a proportion of less than 3%, and then coated on an object to form a paint film with graphite particles 3 appearing on its surface. Thus, it is possible to prevent the corrosion of zinc due to its ionization by means of Al powders-mixed paint having good adhesiveness, lower the dielectric breakdown voltage to a voltage free of shock to human body, and also secure necessary chromaticity.
