Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve an air tightness at the connection part of a glass tube and a cap by a method wherein a diameter of an end cap is made to be the same diameter as or smaller than a diameter of the tube diameter and connected with glass in a glass container having both ends of the glass tube with end caps.
CONSTITUTION: Both ends of the glass tube 1 are hermetically closed by end caps 2a, 2b and a heat collector pipe 5 having a heat collector plate 10 composed of an aluminum plate etc. is passed through the glass tube to construct a heat collector device. In this case, in the end caps 2a, 2b the circumferential edges of the metal circular plates are bent, a diameter of the end cap at the bent part 3 is made smaller than a diameter of the end part of the tube 1.
