Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the danger of inner pressure rising due to heat at the time of welding after the completion of a heat pipe by a method wherein a heat medium pipe for transferring heat, which can slide, is provided inside an inner pipe constituting a heat discharge space for a heat collecting element.
CONSTITUTION: On the outer surface of a heat medium pipe 14 provided with a cap nut 13, an inner pipe 9a, which forms heat discharging space 9 for each heat collecting element H from one end of the heat medium pipe, is placed via a spacer 15 so that it can transfer heat and slide. Finally, a fastening nut 16 is screwed on thread 17 provided at one end of the heat medium pipe 14. By this, the heat collecting element H is supported between a stopper 18 and the fastening nut 16. The heat medium pipe 14, together with heat discharging space 9, is enclosed in a box 20, filled with heat insulating material 19, which functions as a supporter and heat insulator. By this, the base of vacuum cylinder 6 is supported, and the end of vacuum cylinder 6 is supported by supporting plate 21. The operating liquid of heat pipe 8 is heated by solar heat, the vapor moves to heat discharging space 9 and liquefies by condensation, and the heat medium (water) in heat medium pipe 14 is heated by its latent heat.
