Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent an inner and an outer pipes from being strained, by filling an electrically insulating substance of good heat transferring property between the inner and the outer pipes to eliminate the temperature difference between the pipes.
CONSTITUTION: When a cold fluid 23 is heated, heat generated in an inner pipe 1 is directly utilized for heating and temperature retention. To transfer heat generated in an outer pipe, to the fluid 23, the heat needs to be passed through the gap 22 between the inner and the outer pipes. An electrically insulating substance of good heat transferring property is filled in the gap 22 to reduce the temperature difference between the inner and the outer pipes 1, 2 as much as possible. As a result, the temperature difference between the pipes is diminished and they are not strained.
